The location was excellent - we were able to walk to Valle del Templi (but note, it is a long downhill walk, and the return therefore is uphill). The room was large and had a sea view (although the sea is a long distance away). It was clean and well-appointed. We could open the windows with total privacy and no appreciable noise.

Only one restaurant was open and the menu was restricted and expensive so we did not eat there on our second night. In the "high season" it seems that they would have other restaurants open. More careful cleaning of the bathroom would help, to get rid of mould in the corners of the shower. Our room was in a separate building just 20 yards from the main building, which was not an inconvenience but the entrance to that building was very unattractive.

Best: breakfast was very good, among the best on our journey so far: good variety of protein, fruit (for fiber), and yogurt for good microbiomes:: view from patio--surprisingly nice view of the area back of the hotel

parking was a problem, without a good solution (where can the parking be, and be close to the hotel?) It was necessary to cross a busy street to reach the car. Maybe some suggestions as to loading and unloading would be helpful. Minor: would be nice to have the check-in clerks to speak good english.

The setting is very nice and the pool was lovely especially as we nearly had it to ourselves in the morning. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was good. The location is fantastic for visiting the temples. On a cooler day we would have walked.

The mattresses were very hard. I had expected to be able to see the temples from our room, but the angle didn't allow for this. Probably from the other building you could. They should have a communal area where you can sit and look out over the temples. Dinner was adequate.

We had a spacious, little tired, room with a small balcony which was a nice touch. Our room was quite spacious, The pool was fantastic - with a bar and food available, in the garden. It created a great social gathering, which is nice on holidays. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

The shower, over the bath, is awkward and, we think, could be dangerous if you are not nimble. Parking was ok, over the road - gravel area - there was a lot of rubbish around...not the best - typical Italy though.

It is a 2 buildings hotel; we stayed on the "second bulding". Was Ok... We stayed for just one night, and were very tired after visiting the temples (don't miss it ;-), so had a nice dinner at the hotel, in the beautifull garden close to the pool, with live music (a smooth "one man show"), good food and gentle service. Was really nice and relaxing ;-)

No way to turn off (neither control at all) the air conditioning in the room... True you cannot survive in Sicily in August without airconditioning... but also weird having to sleep all covered with a blanket (room was small, what was not an issue in itself, but also means you cannot avoid "the night attack of the mighty airconditioning monster"

Lovely large room with balcony over- looking the garden and with view across the valley. Beautiful pool area and towels provided. The staff on the reception desk were all very helpful and welcoming. The location is perfect for walking to the Valley of the Temples entrance [15min]. We got up early to view in the morning because it was so scorching hot by midday.

Great to have a kettle in the room but no milk !

Helpful staff, excellent service. The staff member on the desk in reception was very kind. Good breakfast for 10 euros. Very pretty gardens and a nice pool area - we wished we had more time to enjoy them. Large comfortable room, good shower in the ensuite.

The location was about 30 minutes' walk from the old centre and 20 minutes' walk from the valley of the temples, so neither one thing nor the other. But if you only want to see the temples and not visit the town, it is convenient especially for drivers.

It was a last-minute decision to stop in Agrigento, and we chose the hotel purely on the basis of its location, so expectations were not especially high, but we loved it! We were greeted warmly by a very enthusiastic receptionist who persuaded us to book for dinner and told us not to miss the gardens. The food was exceptional, and breakfast was also very good. Sadly, we had no time to use the swimming pool, but did appreciate the gardens and the outside bar.

Fantastic location and a view of one of the temples from our window. Friendly staff, room serviced well and excellent breakfast. The hotel restaurant is excellent, too, and we had one of our favourite meals in Sicily here - in particular, we enjoyed the chef's prepared dessert! Very big pool and lovely outdoor area. A short walk to the entrance of the temples.

Staff and Check in was good. Room was good. Swimming pool area was perfect after a hot day sightseeing, no charge for the use of the pool. Car parking was good and had space if you arrive earlyish, but fills up quickly. Supermarkets nearby. Breakfasts were good with lots of tables and a wide selection of food.

The parking was off-site.
