I loved the hill top location, beautiful view, forest and bird song. The hourly shuttle made it very easy to get too and from the hotel. There were a few times a walked up or down, and that was a cool experience too. The glass doors/balcony made you feel connected the surroundings even from your room. There's a lovely park just a few minutes from the hotel with amazing views.

I felt they needed a dinner option that wasn't quite so expensive. As a small eater don't find buffets good value for money. The pool was a little bit dirty, but I think I may have been the only person to actually swim in it for months.

Spectacular location with view over the whole bay of Sasebo and the Kujukujima archipelago. Truly beautiful The room was very nice, cosy, and clean. There was free mango and orange juice available in the lobby. There’s an outdoor pool on a terrace. The hotel was almost fully booked with many families with little kids. But despite this everyone was very considerate and the kids well behaved and quiet.

The only criticism is the buffet style restaurant dinner. It was ok but not more. Everything else was unique and exceptional but the buffet spread was, although large and varied, a bit greasy and more mass than class.

This renovated hotel was a nice surprise, the rooms are big, with a balcony and stunning views. Very clean, excellent bedding, nice onsen baths and sauna with great views and amenities, and unlike onsen baths i have seen in some other places, these baths are recent and don’t have an outdated feel. There are vending machines selling ice cream for after the baths. Also super friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet with Western and Japanese choices and some fresh fruits (pineapple, orange). We didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely and clean. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area. It is conveniently located for day trips to Arita, Hirado, Unzen, Nagasaki if you want to explore the area and stay in one accommodation. The only reason we didn’t stay longer is because it was booked out.

This hotel is atop a hill overlooking Sasebo, we used our own car (a winding road) and there seem to be a shuttle bus service if needed.

The restaurant buffet had a great selection, the views from the hotel are gorgeous, and the room was large for this price.

Two minor quibbles. Wish the breakfast buffet restaurant had regular-size spoons, it's hard to eat cereal and yogurt with the tiny dessert spoons that were put out. Also, the only bowls available for the cereal are very shallow, making it difficult to put much cereal and milk in it.

The view and the facilities were great.

Because it was at the top of the mountain it was a drive up and down winding roads. Great location and view but plan your day to avoid the up and down.

Lovely views, wonderful facilities, good sized room by Japanese standards.

Room was too hot at first as there is central heating with no individual temperature control in the room, I had to open the window.

Fantastic views, beautiful onsen which was well equipped with Sauna. Breakfast was good. If you are a western guest ask for a soft pillow, enhanced our stay massively!

Clean and very quiet, surrounded by Nature and a very beautiful view.

There is a very long way uphill by a car. Bit pricey for this far location.
