First was the beautiful presence of this stately home, complete with Downtown Abbey style gravel drive and being greeted at the entrance with kindness from the staff. We had a basement room which was surprisingly lovely and bright. It had everything you need except a mini fridge. Coming from the states we really appreciate the smart TVs so we can watch something at night on Netflix in English. So helpful. The bed as king sized and soooo perfectly comfortable. Crisp and clean linens, 2 pillows each of different weights, double vanity was clean and beautiful. Giant fluffy white bath sheets that smelled fresh and clean. Let me ramble on about the water pressure. 12" rain head and hand shower. Great pressure and plenty of hot water. 2 sets of roller shades on the windows, filter and blackout. I over slept a little and caught up on rest i wasn't getting in other places as we've been on the road a while. A/C, not all are created equal and this one rocked!! Had it set at 18 and it kept the room cooled. Not the case in other lodgings. I can't say enough. Let's talk staff. Everyone we encounted over our 2 night stay was kind, courteous, helpful and professional. You feel welcome and at home immediately and no request goes un attended. Thank you ladies. Lastly, dining. I don't usually buy the food at a lodging but let me say, get the breakfast buffet. Worth every penny and absolutely delicious and way too ample. I love the toaste with tomato and the assorted cheeses from the region and the crepe. Keep up the good work. Hotel El Rosal is perfect!!!

It is right on the path of the Camino del Norte. The staff was extremely helpful and very attentive, assisted with laundry, taxi, supermarket, etc. Not to mention, it was completely relaxing, and a great place to unwind in a tranquil, peaceful environment after a long day of walking. I absolutely did not want to leave! The room was extremely comfortable and clean, not to mention beautiful. They do not have many room so you will be lucky to reserve one! definitely one you want to reserve months/weeks ahead of time!

The hotel was really lovely, it had a lot of character and space inside. My room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and everything high quality. The bed was super comfortable (I overslept which says it all!), the shower and bathroom were also first class. At the top of the stairs outside my room was a beautiful, large lounge area, with sofas, armchairs and coffee tables. A really lovely communal space to sit and read, or to pass time with others

The one single thing which disappointed me a little was breakfast. It was unclear to me what was on offer. The staff were very kind, but for me it would be better either to have a breakfast menu which could be chosen from, or just have a buffet where guests select directly based on the available choice. Let me say, without this minor disappointment the hotel was a clear 10 all day long!!

Great Hotel with exceptionally pleasant owners/staff. Lovely terrace overlooking a large garden; perfect for breakfast, an aperitif, or the light tapas options offered in the evening. Large room (comfort double) with an extremely comfortable bed - the even larger lounge areas available to all guests gave a very spacious feel to this Hotel

We loved everything about this hotel. The hotel as well as the outside area is completely new and decorated very elegantly and tastefully. The building is gorgeous, the rooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable. Very comfortable beds and showers. A beautiful salon to relax if the weather might be rainy and beautiful terraces all around. Great breakfast and snack options. But what made our stay truly unforgettable was the wonderful staff. At el Rosal the hostess and the staff have made hospitality into an art. Extremely kind, attentive and helpful. We really felt like we were at home in el Rosal and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

The Hotel is in a great location to explore the area, which was incredible as was stunned by how beautiful the Asturias is. Very modern, stylish and probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The real stand out was the 2 ladies who run the place, outstanding service, so genuinely helpful, made us feel at home. Because of how welcoming they were we changed our travel plans to stay another night. Would recommend.

This is an exceptional place to stay. It looks like a small manor house but has been refurbished to an amazing standard with the best of everything. It was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was ultra modern with a superb rainfall shower. The Queen size bed was really comfortable and the air conditioning silent, but very effective. The staff were wonderful and it felt as though nothing would be too much trouble. Definitely recommend.

I had a great stay here, the Hotel is beautiful and very well maintained with great attention to details and services. Located just outside of Cudillero you have the best of both worlds, the space and accessibility of a larger hotel (with parking) but the proximity to the beautiful port town. Staff were very friendly and helpful in providing local information as well.

We came across this hotel while looking for a place to stay during our road-trip through Asturië. The personal gave us a very warm welcome and told us about all the beautiful hotspots in the area. The hotel rooms where brand new, very luxurious, clean and the breakfast was amazing. Price quality ratio is really good so don’t hesitate and book this hotel. Kind regards, Steffie Hurks.

We were looking for somewhere just outside Cudillero and this was the perfect location. The building has been beautifully renovated with all mod cons and offers a real boutique experience. The staff were lovely and so helpful. We had the full breakfast and loved it, but you can save money and have a smaller breakfast or none at all - there's no pressure. Asturias airport is only about 20 minutes drive away, but there is no airport noise.

Nothing. Some people might prefer to be closer to restaurants (there is one good one down the road), but we like a quieter location.
