Beautiful building, tastefully modernised. Our room and bathroom were both spacious and airy. The room was well designed with an electrical outlet and direct USB ports both sides of the bed. The bed linen was very good quality and there were plenty of pillows. The shower was large with good water pressure and there were plenty of towels. The continental breakfast had a wide selection of fruits, pastries and bread the grounds of the hotel were lovely, although when we stayed it wasn’t warm enough to use the small pool. The staff were very welcoming and helpful

Nothing at all, although people should know it is a short walk, five minutes, from the centre of the village.

What a great hotel this is. The interior is a thoughtful blend of antiques and new pieces, the garden is huge and has benches to sit. Our room was very comfortable. Staff is warm and goes the extra mile. Nearby is a path along the coast with beautiful views. We spent our last hour having a drink on the terrace and were sad to leave.

This place is easily the greatest place I've ever stayed in all the countries across the world..Currently doing the Camino de Santiago and the people treated me like family I can't speak highly enough I met the father of the family a warm gentleman and his daughter who showed me around the grounds..she asked me what time I'll leave unfortunately before the 9am breakfast..At 8am when I left she'd prepared a huge breakfast of sandwiches juice and fruit...Special people Special place...Book immediately.

It’s a beautiful property just 5 mins walk from the town center. The room large with comfortable bed. The staff were outstanding. We are walking the Camino Del Norte and wanted to get an early start so we would miss breakfast. The staff made us breakfast and lunch bags to take along the way. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Everything. It is an unexpected gem. The house is beautifully set up with many tasteful details and attention to the guests’ comfort. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and pretty, so pleasantly lit by those skylights. The gardens intrigue one to explore and relax. Above all the warm hospitality of the owners, Pilar and Hector, invite guests to stay and enjoy. Pilar also called around to find us a fabulous dinner. We stayed in two rooms, all of us wish we could have stayed longer.

very extremely nice and friendly owners of this beautiful little castle. we loved everything from the room to the garden and the breakfast. they have transformed this castle in a very nice boutique hotel blinding the past with the modernity. The decoration has been done with a very good taste and the sense of every details. as we arrived late the owners were so nice to call the nearby restaurant to book a last minute dinner. we really recommend!

Unique property with beautiful park. Comfortable and spacious room. Good breakfast.

Located 10-12 minute walk from center. If you arrive early in the week, restaurants may be closed and you will have to walk 20 minutes to the next town for dinner, so plan accordingly. Breakfast was excellent but served at 0900--rather late for Camino walkers.

The host is exceptional and the house was impecably restored and mantained. Breakfast was delicious We were walking the Camino and the host left an amazing takeaway breakfast for us, which we thought was unusially considerate

I liked everything

Decided to stay here for a couple of days before flying home. We had been seeing various towns and cities and wanted to just put our feet up, sit in the garden, and relax. For this it was ideal.

Would have liked a fridge in the room.

The staff was fantastic, from the tour telling us about the history, the drinks that came with a little greeting from the kitchen to the breakfasts.

It took us a bit to find the hotel bit the advantage was the calm and peacefulness of the location. It was opening week so there are still some things to finish, we would love to come back in summer to see!
