This is a charming hotel with great staff in a wonderful town. Our room was a good size with a nice shower, balcony and patio. The bed was adequate. No air conditioning but we had a nice cross breeze with the windows open. The staff, Maria and Diana, were very friendly and helpful and spoke English. The breakfast was huge with a lot of breads and pastries and delicious omelets made to order. The town is so charming, we walked all the pathways up many stairs and enjoyed spectacular sunsets.

There is no parking near the hotel. You can load and unload your baggage near the hotel then park at the marina a half mile away. You must go to the marina and pay for the parking each day. This is true for any hotel or apartment you stay in within the town. As others have noted, it’s a little difficult to find the hotel and there is no elevator. Not a problem for us but may be for others. There was some noise outside the room at night due to the restaurants nearby, but it ended by midnight.

We loved our stay at La Casona de Pio! It was so adorable and exactly what we were looking for for our stay in Cudillero. The hotel is fairly small and very well kept with friendly staff. Our room was sizeable with both a balcony on the front of the building and a private patio to the side. The shower worked well and the bathroom seemed like it had been recently renovated. The location is close to the center of town but very quiet. The whole hotel was very clean and well maintained. The town doesn't really have cars, so we parked at the large free parking lot by the port, which has about 6 charge points for EVs. Then we walked no more than 10 minutes to get into town. Be aware that the hotel's location is not exactly where Google Maps shows it. It is right next to Casa Mari Sidreria. Walk all the way towards the back of the town, then next to the Heladeria there is a sign pointing you to the hotel.  We loved this hotel and heartily recommend it. I was sad to stay only one night!

Our room had a balcony and we loved sitting outside . The views of all the other houses up the mountain were amazing from there. The vibe of the town was audible and made us feel very much part of the activities. Our room was great and didn't disappoint. The hospitality in the morning was outstanding and we were made to feel very welcome. The breakfast they served us was wonderful, fruit yogurt, jams and also eggs and pancakes and brilliant coffee. Huge thanks to the receptionist who kindly helped us get our suitcases from the car as there were roadworks in the area.

We were very comfortable and loved our stay at La Casona de Pio. Can't think of anything that we didn't like.

We have to give appreciation to Monica who we first met as she checked my wife and me in at reception. We informed Monica that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and she without hesitation upgraded us to a very nice room with a balcony. She told us everything to see while visiting Cudillero. She even helped us by making a reservation at a beautiful restaurant since we wanted to celebrate. The hotel is centrally located in this gorgeous village, so it is easy to get around. Don't miss the breakfast. They will prepare anything you request. I would definitely reccommend La Casona de Pio to anyone traveling is this part of Spain. I only hope that Monica will be there to greet you. She was the best.

We really enjoyed everyting. It's a little tricky to find at first and if you do have a vehicle, parking is about a 10 minute but very enjoyable walk away. But, parking is totally free of charge,

We had a lovely stay at this property. The room and bed were comfortable and clean, and the staff were beyond amazing! The location is a quaint as it gets and the surrounding area is beautiful. The local food was delicious. I would definitely stay here again. There are a lot of stairs and uneven ground. It is worth noting that there is no parking at the facility, but down the road, it was no problem for us, but we were there in the off season. There are a lot of stairs too.

A comfortable traditional style hotel. The wooden balcony was delightful. Situated in the heart of Cudillero. The staff at reception were lovely, we arrived dripping wet on our bicycles. Our bicycles were securely stored in a storage space at ground level. We enjoyed a few hours in a sitting area and the staff kindly made tea and coffee for us. A big breakfast cooked on site (additional cost) which was great. Comfortable beds and efficient radiator heaters.

Location was exceptional, walking distance to all the local restaurants, the harbor, the fish market, etc. right down the stairs from the check in parlor are restaurants. Of course, the seafood was exceptional so if you are looking for meat entrees on the menu, there are plenty but Cudillero is known for seafood. Friendly people everywhere. make the effort to climb along the cliffs overlooking the harbor. The reward is priceless. Take your time, rest every 20 stair steps. just exceptionally stunning.

parking spaces are far from the hotel but that is OK. The walk from where you park to the hotel is along the water with exceptional views of the harbor.

A small family owned hotel in a picturesque historical stone house in the heart of Cudillero, a few stairs up from plaza Marina. Very warm and welcoming host and staff, very comfortable, cozy and pretty rooms, they also offer a generous breakfast in a beautiful dining room

Parking is sort of difficult, we stopped to unload the luggage in plaza Marina, then found parking in the port, there are some stairs to go up to the hotel

My Spanish is awful and their English not great but the staff were friendly and warm and helpful. The room was nice, if a bit dark but wonderful located. Breakfast was amazing and massive. A really unusual village set into a hill , on a coast. Small but really friendly.

It was too close to an amazing ice-cream shop.

Beautiful old building which is well looked after and clean. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great (if very large) but they let us take away what we didn’t finish.

WiFi wasn’t great and couldn’t do work in the room. No tea and coffee facilities in room.
