The property offers a beautiful view and large, clean rooms, but its greatest asset is not the amenities – it's the host. He greets guests even before they enter the building and treats them like the most valuable treasure throughout the entire stay. I've never experienced such dedicated service in any hotel before. It made a huge impression on me, and I should add that I often stay at hotels like Hilton, Kempinski, Radisson, and similar. Bravo!

If I had to nitpick, the water pressure in the bathroom could be higher. But with service like this, such details quickly fade into the background

The hotel is in a great location, very peaceful and right next to the beach. The rooms are big and have a lovely terrace overlooking the mountains. There is also a great terrace at the bar where you can enjoy a nice drink in the fresh air. Staff is nice and welcoming.

Breakfast was slightly disappointing, I was expecting a buffet but instead it's a menu and the quality was good but not to the standard I was expecting. The staff were quite absent, if you wanted a drink you needed to look for someone to serve you and they took quite a long time to bring your order. Finally, the music during breakfast I think is not appropriate. They have the radio on, and it disturbs the peace and quiet of the surroundings.

The room was very spacious with a balcony and a view of the countryside and the sea in the distance. Unfortunately, it was cloudy when we arrived so we couldn't see as much as we might have done on a sunny afternoon. Rogelio and the team were super friendly and welcoming. Dinner was local fare. Recommend the plate of Asturias cheeses with a bottle of wine. Delicious! Good value for money and not too far from the airport if you're needing be be close. Spa bath was a nice touch.

The location was very close to nature - peaceful and quiet. The rooms were very clean (though a little musty) and the check-in was seamless despite the language difference. The parking was easy (unlike in some towns) and it was a short, easy drive into Cudillero - the lovely seaside village that we had come to visit.

A little more signage (in either language) to explain that dinner was being served at the restaurant though the website didnt give any indication that it was open at all.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Lots of good recommendations and support. The place is very kids friendly and welcoming for families. Not only does the place have an area for kids but also toys and books for them. Finally, we had the situation of our child breaking a tooth at the end of our stay, the owner called and made an appointment with a nearby dentist for her to get a check right away.

We were warmly welcomed by the staff. Our host was very knowledgeable about the region and made us want to discover more of Asturias. Our room was comfortable and the bathtub had jets that worked (sometimes not always the case in other places). The breakfast was excellent and copious with many local products and eggs (!). The beach is close by and it was so clean. This is also a great place to stay if you’re traveling with children since there is a lot of fun play equipment and even a trampoline in the garden.

Hotel located pretty much at end of road so not much traffic, pretty quiet and secluded. The staff are very attentive and welcoming. Had some fun & engaging conversations with the owner, Roger, who is very knowledgeable of local offerings and history. Easy/short drive to Cudillero or Salinas for dinner, although very much enjoyed dinner (carpaccio de bacalao) at the hotel on one of the nights. Prepaid for breakfast, great variety; especially enjoyed the arroz on leche, yogurt, and café con leche.

We had a fantastic time during our four nights at this quiet, remote, hotel, within a short 10 min walk down to Aguilar Beach (where we spent one entire afternoon). The management and staff are super friendly and helpful. They make you feel special. We had a room with a balcony and view overlooking the mountains. It was so relaxing… I still smell the scent of the eucalyptus trees… There is no air conditioning, but we really did not need it. The air at night was cool (in July, in Spain…), and we left the windows open for fresh air. There are full breakfasts, you choose from a menu (which allows variety), and a restaurant on site (where we ate in the evening twice). We also enjoyed the music entertainment on Friday and Saturday evening. The hotel is also a great location to explore the area: Playa Silencio, Port village of Cudillero, San Esteban, a beautiful Coastal walk (Senda de los miradores), and the Palacio de la Quinta Selgas.

Lovely hotel with a very comfortable room. This is really a surprise hidden gem on the northern Spanish coast in a small town. The owner was very welcoming and we enjoyed talking with him during our stay. He also works in the restaurant on site (good food). We were only booked for 2 nights but wish we could have stayed longer. This is a good location to do day trips to various coastal beaches and into towns like Oviedo. There is on site parking.

However, the true highlight of our stay was the owner, Rogelio. Our flight to Asturias arrived late, causing us to return to the airport to collect our rental car the next day. Rogelio graciously offered to drive us to the airport as he also had something to do in the town. But the journey didn’t end there. He took us on an impromptu tour of the town, sharing fascinating insights about local architecture and the rich history of Asturias. This personal touch added a layer of depth to our understanding of the area, enhancing our overall experience. Rogelio’s dedication to ensuring we had the best possible experience in Asturias was truly remarkable. His passion for his hometown was infectious and added a unique dimension to our trip. The culinary offerings at the hotel deserve a special mention. The food was nothing short of spectacular, with the breakfast standing out as a particular highlight. The quality and taste surpassed all the cafes we had visited before. In conclusion, this hotel offers not just a place to stay, but a complete cultural immersion, thanks to the efforts of Rogelio. It’s a place where comfort, history, and gastronomy blend seamlessly to create an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to return and explore more of what Asturias has to offer.
