This is an exceptional Casona. We had the pleasure of staying in the Tower room which was absolutely beautiful. The wrap around terrace gave us beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The bathroom was large with double sinks and lots of counter space and nice shower tub combo. The common areas are beautifully furnished with comfortable seating areas and the gardens are gorgeous. Breakfast was wonderful, with variety and made to order - make sure you add this to your reservation. Although this property is outside old town Cudillero it has the convenience of easy on site parking. Old town can be reached easily by car or with a good stair work out on foot! Staff are helpful with great advice for exploring area and speak English.
Enjoyed everything.

Beautiful place. Loved our stay, shame we couldn’t stay longer. After a 2 night ferry to Bilbao we drove three hours to stay here on our way to Portugal. Wow! As lovely as all the photos and reviews say. A real slice of heaven. The owner (I think) - was so warm, friendly and helpful. She allowed us to check in early as we had had no sleep on a very rough crossing. Beds were comfortable. Room on the ground floor quiet. The roaring fire was a godsend after a long cold walk back up the hill after dinner. Breakfast was lovely! All home cooked and served to your table. A beautiful place. Would definitely stay again on another road trip!
Wish we could have stayed longer! The first person to greet us was not overly happy about us arriving at midday to see if we could check in early after 2 nights of no sleep, despite me messaging to ask first thing, thankfully the lovely owner was much more accommodating. Thank you.

The full atmosphere of this coastal area. Lovely accommodation. Beautifully looked after by Montse, Tamara and Rachel. They have the perfect way to serve breakfast. Ian Lee. I would love to reply to my accommodation at Pazo di Esposende hotel at Ribadavia. For me I had no choice. It was totally wrong. Position wrong. Service nil. Bathroom problems. It has caused a lot of problems leaning into my cancellations. I still may have to fly home early. Ian Lee. My accommodation at Lekeitio, Santillana, Ribadeo Wonderful places to stay with lovely old character.
the problem at Ribadavia will be taken further. due to an injury I required a hotel where I can have easy access from the hotel to centre. this place was isolated from the town by some seven kms there was no one at all and I mean no one to be seen. The manager/owner had gone by the time I went to his office to discuss certain things re the room. it certainly caused me few problems like needing sleep in the car. and you ask did I have a problem with that accommodation? yes.

This hotel is amazing - it’s more like staying in someone’s (beautiful) house than a hotel. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel at home by Juana and her incredible team of women, who run the hotel so smoothly. Breakfast is served daily with table service as well as buffet cakes and pastries in the exquisite dining room. The garden, the decor, the staff, the spotlessly clean rooms with sheets that smell like roses… it’s the best hotel we’ve stayed in.

Beautiful old house that has been carefully restored and furnished to provide all the comforts. The hotel is set in a lovely shady walled garden filled with mature trees and with tables and chairs dotted about for guest use. The staff were very happy to serve drinks and snacks anywhere in the garden and the prices for drinks were very reasonable for a hotel. There is real care and attention to detail in the way the hotel is run, which has positive impact on the guest experience. I should also mention the very comfortable beds and top quality bed linen too. Easy parking. Hotel is about 15 mins steep walk from Cudillero centre. Good breakfast
Nothing really, the only thing that might need improving was the breakfast service. It was full service and a little bit clunky although the food and coffee were excellent.

What a wonderful stay we had! Everything was fabulous. The building with beautiful lounge rooms, the lovely gardens, our hotel room itself. The staff were amazing and very friendly with marvellous service. The breakfast was a daily morning banquet and very reasonably priced at just €11.50 each... including the offering of various cakes! A real gem of a hotel 💗
Having to say goodbye to the hotel and its staff! 😁

Hotel is lovely, very elegant, room was spotless and all facilities really nice. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb. Two restaurants close by both of which were great, the El Centro in particular we loved, really friendly locals restaurant and wonderful menu.
The only thing stopping me giving this a ten is the distance from the town. And actually it's not the distance, going down is fine but it's the one in four climb back out that is a bit of a killer! Having said that I would happily revisit this hotel again.

The staff were all extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Spoke English fluently. Beautiful building tastefully updated, keeping it's original character. Lovely grounds well maintained. EV charger (ac -we managed up to our max of 6kw). Great choice of options at breakfast, served to our table. Really has an air of elegant relaxation.
Breakfast is extra cost, having said that it was well worth the 11.50 euros

Beautiful setting, beautiful residence with lots of optional spaces to relax in whether that be the lounges or outside in the garden. The breakfasts were fabulous with freshly homemade produce. The staff/owners were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend, and hopefully we will return one day.
Nothing at all. Just to be aware there is a very steep incline from Cudillero to the hotel.

The hotel is housed in a magnificent 19th Century mansion converted into a beautiful hotel. The rooms are beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable. The breakfast is exceptional, ordered off a menu. Staff, Rachel especially, were friendly and helpful. Free parking great if you're driving. One correction: the hotel is not actually in Cudillero. Its in the next village, La Pita. However, the walk to the town and harbour is very pleasant, once past the Piscador Hotel, and takes 15 minutes.
Nothing really.
