The man at the reception was extremely patient and helpful. He was a great ambassador for the hotel. The room was a good size with a big bathroom. It was clean, comfortable and reasonably quiet. The location was very good just around the corner from a main square. I managed to get a very secure parking space.

I don't know if it's Booking.com or the hotel, but finding the hotel and parking was a struggle and a little stressful. On booking.com the hotel is called Hotel 40 Nudos, it is, actually called The Hotel Serrana, as on Google maps. For access to the hotel there is a bollard a you enter Cta. de la Molinera, with a buzzer for the hotel (What3Words ///forgiven.betrayed.restless). They will then lower the bollard into the ground. For the parking, there is another bollard at C. Jovellanos (///discount.risking.winning). This information would have made things a lot easier.

Location, stuff and rooms were absolutely perfect! Not sure if we were luck to get some sort of upgrade, but this time it was one of those rare situations when hotel rooms have exceeded our expectations. We got two rooms, on the top floor with balconies on the roof, from where we could see the whole historic center! Sofas, pillows were great! AC worked just fine. Whilst hotel doesn't have its own parking, in the Pl. Espana (~80m) a huge multi-level underground parking, with pretty good clearance (family mini-van fits ok).

Very centrally located, right in the heart of town, large, quiet rooms with all the basics. Comfortable bed, large, updated bathroom. Although it is over 50 years old is well maintained, very clean, friendly staff, with a cafeteria and and a restaurant in the premises.

The TV us very small without access to livestream, on-demand services.

What a fantastic place! Such a beautiful room and hotel! Friendly staff, everything and so much more available in a quiet village. Nice restaurants within walking distance. The room was impeccable and large with very good beds! Highly recommended, so do not hesitate!

staff was always available and very helpful. the hotel is as central as possible: 50 meters away from Plaza Espana. It is located in pedestrian area, but taxi brought me to the front door.

It was a nice State in Avilés. Great location in a beautiful area and comfortable hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

The room had a separated bed so it wasn’t very good to sleep but in general it was comfortable

The hotel being located in the heart of the old town made approaching it by car a bit complicated. That's not the hotel's fault though.

No kettle in the room, the hotel is located in a pedestrian zone and getting to the hotel by car with luggage can be slightly problematic.

It was a pleasant stay. They run as a hotel and restaurant, of which we had a one night stay on the 4th floor. The hotel was nice from the inside and in great location. The room was clean, bed comfortable, had one large dedk, 2 night stands, big closet, minifridge, TV, bathtub, hairdryer. No noise came from outside or neighbors.
