I chose the hotel based purely on location (closest one to where the friends I was visiting live) and was absolutely fine for what I needed. I ended up working on my laptop at the little desk in my room a lot more than expected and the WiFi didn't drop once. Staff were friendly, room & hotel clean, a little noisy but it's on the main road with a restaurant underneath (which opens much later than it says online) but the windows keep the worst of the road and bin lorry noises out.

-1 as they do the leave the key at reception when you leave the hotel thing - while I understand this in terms of loss prevention and knowing who is in the hotel in an emergency, there was often noone to hand it to forcing you to leave it on the desk and hope noone else picked it up, which doesn't make you feel like your work laptop is very secure in your room! -1 as can be noisy - sounded like the hotel was being rearranged or an hour or so around 1am one night but think it's just the hard floors and echoey halls spreading noise from them closing down the restaurant. However, overall, nothing that would stop me staying there again.

The staff was very kind and allowed me to check in a little earlier than scheduled because I was working remote and needed the space for my meeting.

Good hotel with restaurant not too far from the center (20/30 minutes walk more or less). Helpful staff. The room and the bathroom were clean and big enough.

I stayed in a nice hotel room, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nothing really, I've stayed before and always choose this hotel for a quick 1 night stop over due to it's location for me.
