We had a perfectly located room at the end of the front row. We were closely located to the childrens playground as I had kids with me, but they are just that little bit older so didnt make use of it. The unit was spacious and comfortable. We had amazing sunrises from the balcony and lovely to sit and watch the township from. Beds are comfortable and the unit it tidy and well furnished. Location is spot on!
We must have arrived in mosquito season, as there were many through out the unit. Luckily I had stsyed here a few days prior and later learnt that theres repellant provided under the sink. I was able to spray the rooms and get rid of the problem quickly. The units are very sound proof we had neighbours drinking and talking quite loudly late into the night, which was a bit disruptive, but not a fault of the Hotel. Again, as per my last review.. the mini bar stock takes up most of the room in the fridge. For a three night stay it didnt leave us much room for out items, Id prefer there was an option to not have this, as I dont drink, it takes up usable space and everytime you open the fridge everything falls over.

Location is perfect. Beautiful view of the iconic nut from the room, watched a stellar sunrise! Didnt get to try the spa as only there for 1 night, but it looked a great size and clean! Bed was spacious and comfortable!
Unfortunately we were under attack all night by mozzies, there were heaps in the room (I stayed in another room a few days later and the same thing) - they do have repellant under the sink, but we hadnt known we would need it and only found it in the morning. Also in this room on of the outside lights shines directly in the window, so it was very bright while trying to sleep. It does go out much later in the night. There are mini bar/snack options - but we didnt want any thing so they were more a hinderance to the space than anything else.

Location was beautiful and away from town.
We chose the location because we thought it would be quiet as it's away from town. Unfortunately on our first night around 10.30pm several people were talking quite loudly right outside our room and they knocked on our door for or five times and jiggled our door knob and kept us awake for quite a while. The following morning around 6.30am the same people were outside our room again talking very loudly. We also had trouble parking in our assigned area as the all the parking spaces were taken up and had to park in an area quite a ways from our room. Other than this we really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, clean and cosy.

The view from the accommodation was AMAZING as it is up on the hill, and just a bit further up (500m up the road) is a lookout. The room was excellent! Comfy beds, well stocked minibar, the bathroom was super clean and roomy, plenty of space to relax in. The lady at reception was lovely and knowledgeable. Parking right outside your room. We had dinner at Hursey Seafood Restaurant which is about 1-2km away and shared a large crayfish (lobster) with garlic butter - the restaurant was also very clean and the staff were incredible there too.
Seriously, no faults. We only stayed 1 night and it was great!

The view was really nice.
NO meals available at the hotel as it is somewhat away from the town. Also that was not explained when we checked in. Also when booking we didn't realise the location. If we knew where it was we would not have booked there. We would have booked somewhere central to the town centre. There was no one at checkout at 9 in the morning also so when we checked out we couldn't see anyone about buying the penguin in the room. The mini bar sheet said we had to put our credit card details on it an leave it at reception. We were not comfortable doing that so we didn't buy the penguin.

A group of six of us, including my husband, my elderly mother, grandmother, and two young daughters, stayed at Stanley for one night. The house was large and comfortable. We had already seen The Nut in the house, and we were also at The Nut in the morning. The Nut takes an hour to explore and has very beautiful sea views. It is a good place to explore The Nut. It only takes five minutes to drive to the Historical Site and see beautiful sunsets and sunrises.
In terms of rooms, it turns out that the three rooms are connected. You have to go through the first room to get to the second room, and then go through the second room to get to the third room. It's like a train carriage, which is a bit inconvenient. We only stayed for one night. So the problem is not too big.

Great location, easy parking, fantastic views and has a great mini bar with plenty of options at great prices and even had a very nice stuffed toy penguin on the bed available to purchase which we did. They also loaned us red torches to go and see the penguins down at the beach. Very nice receptionist.
We didn’t like that there was no Air Conditioning or fan as the room was pretty hot even with the window open, only had a fly screen on one window so couldn’t open the other one due to flys and mosquitoes and there wasn’t any wind when we stayed their, also there was a toaster but no knifes, forks or plates but the receptionist was happy to get us some. Also the toilet seat needs updating as it was abit old and scratched.

The facilities are good, clean and spacious. The view into Stanley is exceptional. The staff very friendly and check in/ out is made easy. The beds are comfortable and the rooms very clean. The only downfall and this has no reflection on the property is the lack of respect from other guests. If you wish to slam doors, talk loud constantly, then I suggest you stay home, some people want to enjoy peace and quiet.

The staff were amazing..the lady at reception was so helpful with the sites and restaurants to see. The little penguin plushy in the room was adorable. Close to town and nice and warm. The spa bath was lovely.
The shower or toilet was leaking a little but manageable and there were pipes outside our window on the second night that were screeching. But overall it was a lovely and enjoyable stay..I would definitely stay again.

We were travelling as a family of 6 and the hotel staff had already put a fold-out bed in the room for us when we arrived. There was plenty of room for us all, with table and chairs and a fridge. The beds were very comfortable and the view from our room was incredible! The staff were also very helpful and friendly and we all enjoyed a drink at 'happy hour' in the hotel lounge. They also provided us with little red torches for the penguin viewing and gave us lots of tips for what to do and see. I'd definitely recommend this place for a family of 6.
