Standard IBIS which fully met chain standards. The room is small but well-arranged, the bed is comfortable, and breakfast is tasty. Always use this hotel for a 1-2 night stay in Martigues. Big free parking behind the fence is a big plus. Many good restaurants nearby and pizza restaurant in the same building is quite good as well.

This time I stayed in December and the room temperature was perfect - warm enough, but not too hot. But my previous stay in August was terrible because the air-con was not effective at all (it seems cooling power was intentionally limited).

The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The staff were very helpful and friendly and the building spotlessly clean. I liked the private car park and enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The location is excellent and I had a good meal and picturesque stroll along the harbour side.

I liked everything, I will be prioritising IBIS locations in future hoping they are as good in quality and reasonable in price.

The air conditioning did not work. It was late when we discovered it, so tried to cool off the room with the open window, but it was too noisy. The next morning when we told the staff, we were advised that it was “winter” so the AC is not yet turned on. It’s 11 May - that’s winter? Perhaps a large hotel chain like Ibis should consider going against the French norms and allow AC in their hotels when the temperature tells you it’s needed, instead of the French calendar.

Very comfortable, clean and spacious room. Excellent secure parking. Easy walk into town. Friendly staff. Plentiful breakfast. Excellent value.

Breakfast bar and tables seemed congested which interrupted the easy flow of the day a bit - but the breakfast itself was wonderful and I’d come again.

No tea/ coffee in room View !!! Look at a piece of concrete . Part of the hotel. Hate it when l speak at french and staff automatically reply in English. Not that bad after 24 years 😂😂

Sausages could have been cooked better and possibly as we only arrived down 30 minutes before breakfast ended the selection wasn’t great. Location suited us perfectly and the Lady on Reception was fantastic, her understanding of customer service is Top Shelf.

The location was great! Very close to the bus terminal, a water taxi and was only a short walk to the center of town. It was very clean and the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating.

There is no refrigerator in the room An eggs-kettle is needed at breakfast so that everyone can boil their eggs at the time they want and they are not pre-boiled.
