We have a family room, queen and single beds. Both were very comfortable and there was plenty of room. the service was excellent. the pub frontage is being restored but never impacted on our stay as rooms are away from the pub area. The manager is lovely and helpful. There is free usage of washing machine, which is an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again and recommend others choose to stay here. Clean, tidy and great value for money.

Currently some rooms have no tv which wasn’t advised at check in. Also received a notification to be able to pre check in but it wanted bank details for payment so didn’t pre check in as payment had been made

Great clean room. Comfy bed. Food was awsome at the hotel. Staff friendly. Excellent price for room.

The tv didn't work. Told staff but they said they were too busy at dinner time to check it out but they would have a look later. Nobody bothered to come take a look. Rang number 3 times I was given for any problems upon check in but nobody answered.

Before I arrived, I called Caroline, the assistant manager, to tell her that I was leaving Mt. Isa, and wouldn't be at the hotel until after 7.00pm. She told me to take my time, as the road between the two cities can be dangerous. When I arrived, all the members of staff were friendly and helpful. I dined at the venue both nights. The staff continued to be friendly and efficient. The food was very good. I also noticed that Caroline was watching the dining room. There was a table with mother, father and two young boys. Caroline invited the boys over the the play area of the dining room. This had the effect of giving the parents some quiet time and also keeping the boys occupied, thus contributing to the comfort of the other diners. I believe that Caroline could be an excellent manager/supervisor in any large city hotel.

We booked the disability room as we have mobility issues but don't use a wheelchair. The room would be perfect for someone in a wheelchair as it is purpose built and very roomy. It had all we needed. The restaurant's food was good, and they had a good Senior's Menu. They also provided a free laundry.

The alcohol was very pricey.

I really appreciate it when we find a clean, comfortable, friendly, value-for-money hotel/motel in towns that struggle to flourish in the Outback, so was very pleased. We arrived late and I expected to have to 'find' the key and details, etc., but the staff were super friendly and efficient, and we were in our lovely room in no time! Great shower, too!

We love our stay. It was exactly what we needed and all 19 of our children and grandchildren loved it as it was easy to everything in Cloncurry. The managers and staff looked after all of us exceptionally, and it felt like staying with family as my always loved staying here too.

Didn’t like mould on wall tiles in the shower and sliding doors would get stuck. Had to shimmy every time we go in and out to bathroom and toilet.
