The hotel is in a lovely location, just outside the town and with views over the Meuse. There is a large parking area behind the hotel and the casino and fitness area are in the building next to the hotel. Check in was efficient and our rooms were lovely with a good shower, plenty of space and very quiet. Wifi performance was good. The architecture of the building was part of the reason for choosing it and the cover atrium and the cloisters were beautiful. We had pizza in the hotel for dinner (they don't offer a full dinner service but do bar snacks) which was actually excellent and the guy on the bar was very helpful throughout our stay. After dinner two of us walked into the town, maybe 5 minutes walk, and had a look around - it is a very pretty town and well looked after. Breakfast in the morning was very good with a lot of options, nice food and plenty of space to sit and chat.

This was an amazing place to stay and a standing on our 3 month Europe trip. Large modern comfortable rooms with a large terrace area to relax + sitting room, sauna and bathroom. The old abbey area where the bar and breakfast is served is atmospheric and the bar terrace has a great view of the river and town. The complimentary Leffe beers on arrival after a very hot summer's day were much appreciated. Also great room facilities with tea making and mini bar. The location is easy to town restaurants and there is a free shuttle to the casino. Generous breakfast.

Great staff all friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast good choice in a lovely courtyard which is glass covered, nice garden area with plenty of seating with lovely views over Dinant and river and outside bar also inside bar. Room was really nice clean decent size nice bathroom. No air-conditioning but opening windows and a decent fan it was very hot during our stay and we were comfortable. Location to town is 0.4 k as we measured it to the main bridge 5 minutes walk, bit of a hill back up to hotel but should be ok for most people, we were a group of 6 on 6 motorbikes parking is outside but safe and to the side rear of hotel, Dinant is a nice little place enough to do for a few days. Oh also free drink on arrival.

Loved everything about the hotel! It was quiet and set away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and seemed very happy working there. Thank you ! It makes a difference! Our room was in the original old building, was very spacious with a very large and comfortable bed. A separate bathroom with bath and shower and separate wc. We overlooked the garden which in itself was lovely and calm, full of comfie garden furniture, perfect place to sit and sample the beer! Breakfast was a self-service buffet and quite the best we've ever experienced anywhere. There was plenty of parking and being just a few minutes walk into town, the car didn't move for the couple of days we were there. Could very happily have stayed alot longer and hope to come back someday! Don't forget to visit the Leffe museum in-house and enjoy the free glass and beer at the end of visit. We were also welcomed at the hotel with a free drink which was excellent! Highly recommend 👌

We stayed for one night, parking was easy, the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room with balcony was spacious and excellent, very peaceful. Being the home of Leffe made the stay exceptional and breakfast in the morning was superb also - its a short walk into the city and I would definitely look forward to visiting again. Thanks to the team there for receiving us. Excellent!!!!

As we travelled by car and the city has driving restrictions, this means the route for tourists from outside of the country would experience difficulty and the possibility of fines getting to the location if they are not aware. The Hotel was great - no complaints.

The hotel is clean, the room we had was huge in the main building. The pleasant breakfast room is light and the buffet breakfast was good. Location was perfect to walk the 10 minutes to the centre of town. The advantage of a large open car park was perfect. The response at the point of booking was very good, plenty of information about the hotel and they answered my requests.

The check in process at reception was very slow. The staff were polite but lacked enthusiasm. Check out was a key drop. There seems a distinct lack of staff at reception and the bar. The whole place seemed to lack something, not sure what, but in general it was a pleasant place to stay. It can be recommended for all the good points.

-Staff was friendly, spoke English, French and even Dutch. -It's a 5 minute walk to the centre and there was enough parking space. -Maison Leffe is actually in the hotel which was fun to do. -The room was big, and the bed was super comfy.

-Netflix should have been on the tv but we couldn't find it. (Not a problem, we are not on a vacation to watch tv) -We booked the deluxe room, but we noticed that there were some scratches in the wall, badly done paint. It misses some finishing touches. (But it was super clean and we couldn't complain.) -Also, don't paint your bathroom black, but that's just us. ;)

My room had a view over the river Meuse and the town of Dinant. I loved opening the windows and sitting beside them to watch the townships activities below. I loved the enclosed inner courtyard that houses the bar, lounge and breakfast area. The corridors and windows are beautiful. I love the incentive to swap daily room service for a large beer! All staff were friendly, attentive and respectful. I appreciated that they understood English and my broken French. I loved the quick responses in the booking.com messenger app. I loved being given a map of the town and local attractions. I loved the book detailing the history of the venue.

There was a bad smell on my floor and in my room. Staff offered to swap me but I was happy enough opening my window and using the air freshener they provided me. I also didn’t like the room key (sorry!). The strange shape was very difficult to insert correctly. Many times I had to put down everything I was carrying, bend down on my knee to peer into the keyhole in order to insert the key.

The breakfast was great. The staff was wonderful. The property was neat, and I bet would be even better in the summer with the terrace open. My room was fine, the bathroom very spacious. My bed was comfortable.

The keys - it is a very large key (which is actually a bottle opener, which is handy) but not the easiest to carry around, and the key itself was like a screwdriver that did not fit easily with the door - it was about a 60-90 second process to lock or unlock the door having to bend down to line it up, and rotate 90 degrees each time and hope it works. I just ended up leaving it unlocked most the time.

The view was spectacular. Breakfast was international and broad. The room was great with bathtub and all necessities were present, even shower caps. We were welcomed with vouchers for welcoming drinks and a voucher to a casino. Great bar and friendly staff, we even wanted to stay one night longer and were accommodated to our wish as well as during check in were given map of the city and explained well what and where, such as restaurants etc. Also, there is a Leffe museum in the hotel.

The doors of the room are from real wood, therefore not fitted well for an insulation from the hall.
