Edith, the property owner is a great host, very friendly and helpful. The property itself is modern and well equipped with a lovely garden - unfortunately we couldn't utilise this due to the inclement weather during our stay. The breakfast was delicious with local produce, and thoughtful presentation. A small array of bars and restaurants can be found in the charming town centre, across the bridge, which is an easy 15 minute walk away.

The power of the shower could be stronger - my wife struggled to wash her hair. Some sort of fan may be useful for warmer days, as the window didn't open too far. Minor points though.

The room looked very newly renovated and was very luxary, for the price it was a perfect fit. It had a lovely shower, big mirror and the bed was amazing! never slept so good in an overnight stay. Breakfast was freshly serverd by the owner and very delicious and full of choices. would defenitly want to stay here as well

If you come for a room with a few, this might not be your place, there is a single window which looks at the wall/fence outside and you can look over it, but you are not going to be sitting in front of the window all day like you would at a 20 story hotel

We had a very nice two nights stay in Givet over the weekend. Great food in the local restaurants, a very warm but discreet host and a B+B that was perfect for two people, just one room in the place and exclusive access to a fully fitted kitchen for no extra charge should we were to have preferred to cook for ourselves. Lovely welcome and excellent breakfast, and if you can get there for the summer, breakfast in the garden would be divine.

Wonderful host, warm and welcoming with great communication beforehand. We enjoyed everything about our stay. Just a pity it was only one night. It was a bonus having use of the kitchen. Lovely to try special Belgian beers not normally found in shops. Breakfast on the terrace also very nice.
