The property is close to Tour de France route, therefore, after coming off the main road, you pass charming little villages that you would not see otherwise. The location of the hotel is ideal - just at the entrance to Givet, with a huge shopping mall nearby, McDonalds, and pharmacy. The rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable for one night stay. Even if there were no cups and kettles in the rooms, there were vending machines on site for getting a drink or a snack.

The noise could easily be heard from the corridor.

Ibis Budget operates at the upper end of the budget hotel market. I stay here regularly now, as it's a useful location when I'm returning to the UK. The reception staff are helpful and friendly, plus the rooms are always clean. The retail park opposite the hotel includes a large Chinese restaurant, so it is pleasant to walk across the road for an enjoyable meal.

spacious and clean room. Excellent breakfast. Very surprised for the price of 9 Euros. Good coffee (yes, in France!). Lots of breakfast options, like waffles. Beds are ok for a lower budget chain hotel. No real EV options (well 1 Tesla charger in the back), but McDonalds 200 m away has some fast Chargers. All in all: will be back

Room was clean and spacious. Everything was easy and team was very helpful and friendly. Location was good, we had enough options to eat, despite arriving late. Shopping centre in front of the hotel is a plus, as is the aquapark. Great value for money!

Toilet flush would fill up quite slow, but that was about one thing which we can pinpoint.

Came on a bike packing trip. Bike was allowed to be put in the room, very friendly staff, good breakfast and great service overall!! Lidl next door, McDonald’s nearby. Not too far from the town center by bike, although it’s a little far on foot.

Breakfast was excellent service was excellent area perfect supermarket and shops within walking distance however swimming nextdoor has strict policy for males Speedos only no shorts There was also a rave in the neighborhood so was noisy until 3am however I'd say normally extremely quite & peaceful

The neighborhood music festival throughout the night until the early hours 3am not the hotels fault

Amazing location and very good staff. Parking space is wonderful. Theres a shopping center very close to the IBIS and a MC donalds and the restaurant Le Royal is very close.

A kettle for tea and coffee in the room would have been good. There was no hair dryer in the bathroom

A budget friendly accommodation close to Givet with free parking and a nice little place to walk your dog in the evening. :) They charge 5 Euro for the dog, which is an okay price.

Very basic, budget hotel in a beautiful location, good breakfast and everything you need for an overnight stay.

I didn't like the plastic sheet on the bed, I would remove it next time.

Location is fantastic. Easy to get to the town center by short car ride as well as many hikes. Also great that it’s dog friendly.
