This is our second time in Les Sorbiers and we really enjoyed our time here again. The property has a very unique and special vibe, the facilities are all beautiful and makes you feel special. We enjoyed our kayaking session again this year and spent more time in the beautiful gardens. Dinner at the restaurant was also lovely and delicious, we enjoyed some local wines with our meal which came recommended by our lovely waitress. We were also a bit late for the dinner but they were happy to accommodate us and make sure everything was to our liking..

The EV charger wasn't working, which we have been told was working until last week. Worth double checking before your arrival with the hotel.

The location of the castle is just great, enjoyed it a lot and the looks of the buildings. A unique, enchanting place, certainly worth a visit. Nice, friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfasts. Possibility to rent a kayak and go on the river. Quiet rooms, peaceful surroundings. It was a perfect place to rest and hope to return there in the future.

A pity there wasn't a kettle or a coffee machine in the room, although there is a bar in the next building where you can buy stuff. Sometimes just felt too lazy to go there.

A perfect place to stay! A perfect combination of modern chic and historic grace. Delicious gourmet dinner on site, and breakfast was also wonderful, with local breads and cheeses being a particular treat! Do eat here! Courteous staff, lovely romantic dining room, historic with a sophisticated modern edge. The patio was also a delight, with a sleek bar serving up drinks. Being riverside with large grounds to explore added to our stay. I highly recommend this hotel, it is a delight! (We also appreciated our ground floor room, with a spotless uncluttered chique room, marvellous shower, comfy bed and quiet rural setting! We decided to ditch another city stop in Belgium and head to a more rural and scenic area, closer to the Ardennes , an excellent decision! Enroute from Bruges to Arnhem, we stopped at Les Jardins D’Annevoie, Dinant, Chateau De Veve, and the village of Celles. (There are two Celles towns of this name, pick the one in this area!)

The property is beautiful with gardens full of flowers, well maintained, overlooking the river, perfect for strolls, relaxing and spending quiet days in nature. Romantic but family friendly at the same time. Lots of lounge areas, very nice bar. The dinner in the restaurant was delicious, although service slower as the hotel was at full capacity.

Some of the rooms are a bit noisy due to ventilation and old building. Slow service at the dinner when fully booked.

The breakfast was delicious and in a beautiful dining room surrounded by windows. There was lots of variety. Just an expensive breakfast.

The rooms were very hot (no AC). Then opened the windows for some air, but that let in lots of bugs. I killed a hornet, fly, and spider all in the bathroom. I also wished the family rooms were adjoining. I didn’t realize they had separate entries.

Tranquillity and nature. A stunning property in private gardens overlooking the beautiful River Meuse. We ate a lovely meal on the romantic terrace before strolling around the garden pathways, followed by a little cocktail at the bar before bed. The staff were great, and breakfast was varied and plentiful.

Although the room was lovely, you need to upgrade the beds. The mattress topper on a lumpy bed is just not cutting it, I'm afraid.

or dog couldn't enter the restaurant, which was a pity. However we could sit in the bar and we ate our breakfast there, which was not an issue at all. But for dinner we needed to eat elsewhere...

Friendly reception. Beautiful location, all of it impeccably maintained.

Breakfast was oddly less well done than dinner: tables not cleared, food items running out, etc. Drinks under an awning in the park by the river slightly marred by live music - good but too loud.

Beautiful, quiet location (except when there is an event). Comfortable, spacious room and dog friendly. Reasonable choice at breakfast.

Very limited choice in the restaurant and rather expensive. Water pressure in the shower was poor.

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel nestled in the midst of nature's beauty, and it was a truly enchanting experience. The hotel itself was a perfect blend of comfort and charm. The spacious parking area was a bonus for those who wish to explore the natural wonders nearby. I couldn't have asked for a more idyllic escape!
