Much thought had been given to providing every little detail of what one might need, soaps, face pads, bud tips, coffee, tea, nesquick, milk, honey, jam, yoghurt just everything. Room was on second floor with two velux windows creating a lovely through draught on this hot day. And even with high windows view out especially if one stood on a stool was lovely - the rock cliffs that line the Meuse. Massive double bed. Large room. Boiled eggs cooked to perfection brought to room in morning with copious fresh bread.

The initial staircase looks daunting, almost 20 stairs straight up. Then two more shorter staircases. Hostess helped carry suitcase. Once you are up you are in own little world. Very peaceful and pleasant. Slight problem that TV control was missing but we borrowed one from another room. However we never actually got live TV working - but were not really bothered - not TV addicts and had internet.

I recently stayed at Escale Chambre d'hôtes Au Cœur de Vieux Profondeville, and my experience was a mix of positives and areas that could be improved. 1. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of space to relax after a day of exploring. It was nice to have that extra room to unwind. 2. The flexible check-in process was much appreciated. It made my arrival stress-free and allowed me to settle in at my own pace. 3. The fresh bread and eggs served in the morning were a lovely touch. It’s always great to start the day with a breakfast that feels homemade and fresh. However, while these aspects were enjoyable, there were some areas where the experience fell a bit short, leading me to rate it 3 stars overall.

1. It was a warm night during our stay, and unfortunately, only one small fan was provided. This wasn't sufficient for a room accommodating four people, making it uncomfortable to sleep. 2. The pictures on the booking site were a bit misleading. The room we got didn’t match our expectations based on what we saw online, which was disappointing. 3. The bed mattress was quite uncomfortable, which led to a bad night's sleep. A good night's rest is essential, and this really affected our overall experience.

Easy to park. There is a fridge in the room with all you need for the breakfast. Bread is given in the morning. The host forgot my breakfast, i received fruitsvinstead of egg. The shower is also good, you getvall in the bathroom as well.

The street can be sometimes noisy. The fridge makes noise as well in a regular basis.

Was really a nice stay. Rooms very charming and spacious. The fresh bread and eggs in the morning were really great. Locationwise really central but also very quiet. Host was super nice.

All was perfect.

we loved everything about our stay. The room was bright and airy. crisp clean bedding and a very comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room were also excellent offering a huge choice of teas and fresh coffee. There was even Nesquick! accompanied by the nicest biscuits. The bathroom room was the biggest I’ve ever seen! The bathroom had all the toiletries you’d ever need. In the morning perfectly cooked eggs and fresh bread was delivered to our door, this along with the amazing choice of jams and spreads set us up for the day. I thoroughly recommend a stay here if you are in the area.

nothing it was perfect

Everything was great. It is in a small picturesque town between Namur and Dinant. Room and bathroom was large. Window looked at the church Nextdoor. Short walk to the river which has a nice walking/biking trail along the river. The host had the fridge stocked up (including two beers! 🙂). She also would accommodate late check-in with a keybox. I woul give this place 20 out of 10!!

Steep stairs to upper floors. That was ok for us. And she warned us in a message. Language barrier can be managed with Google translate!

Everyone was great for 3 adults and 1 child. Breakfast was included great choices only thing is that the eggs could have been cooked a bit longer. Also the hot water wasn’t working but they informed us and got some money back which was so nice of them. Over all I’ll stay again for sure.

The rooms are quite charming upon entering, nicely decorated and the bathrooms were also very nice. The beds and pillows provided for quite a comfortable night. The breakfast provided is simple but satisfactory. There are several restaurants on the same street. Parking is right near the B&B and is free.

There is quite a bit of light coming through the window at night, a blackout shade would have been a great help.

There were everything. The owners cared about every details and clearly have taste. We felt just like home.

It's a bit hard to find in the beginning just using the address on google maps. It's better to note it's opposite the bakery named ... (I forgot the name)

I had a really nice attic room. There is soap, towels, hairdryer,... The room also had a fridge (with breakfast supplies) and coffee machine. I left before breakfast time but the lady made sure I got some bread in the evening. Everything was nice and clean. There was also information about surrounding restaurants in the room.

The jam and chocolate paste in the fridge were an open large jar. I would prefer to see them in small, closed packaging.
