The location for a stop over on our road trip was great. Easy access to the Highway.

We've stayed here before and liked it, but this time the room was a bit more beat up than our last stay. Our last stay was top floor, this time we had ground floor. So we had a lot of foot traffic going by. Also had a smoker outside our door standing at his car all afternoon and through the night. Not sure why he didn't just book in the smoking section since they do have that. Made it weird having our curtains open during the day. And we had a pretty good gap in the front door for the air. It was fine for a night, but I wouldn't do more than that. I didn't knock it down too much because our other two stays were fine. Was just luck of the draw I think.

It was clean.

I wrote in Comments: I Need a 1st Floor Room. They gave me a room on the 3rd floor. I couldn't find my room at first because I went up in the elevator to the 3rd floor but to the wrong room because I couldn't read the room number, they are too small. So I had to go back down to my car, around the building and around to the other side to find the right number. Then I had to drag my bags back to the elevator, and around the corner to my room. Surprisingly this room did not have a fridge. I happen to know they have them on the 1st floor, as I stayed there the previous week. I had no reason to believe they would not have one in all their rooms.

The check-in was smooth and the overall value met our expectations. We enjoyed the spa and the pool available to guests and parking was plentiful. AC worked and check out also went smoothly. There were gas stations nearby so we were able to get set for the road trip and continue.

Even though there was 4 of us registered for the stay, we were only provided with 2 large and 2 small hand towels. I am sure they would have helped us at the Casino, but it was quite a bit out of the way, so we just made due. While fridge was not advertised, it would have been very useful and would improve the score.

Everyone that works there that I came in contact with was great. From the people who checked us in and out were all great.

I forgot my phone charger in the room when we checked out. But security called and left me a number to call them back. It seems while the maid was cleaning the room and found it. But some people that was in the room next to where we stayed came in an took my charger. Mary from security was great along with the maid. And also the Mesquite police were great. They said they had a Video of the women going into the room who said she didn’t go in. We made a report and now the police are involved. But from Security to the maid to the police they were great. I left it by accident so my fault to. But Mary in security was and is great. We were just going to stay the one night because we were going to Utah which we did but we came back that night and stayed another night.

The casino staff were extremely nice and supportive.

I had already paid a pet fee with booking. They insisted that I didnt. With booking it said I had paid everything and I didnt need to pay any more fees. When arrived they said there was a pet fee of $20 and fees of $50. I paid and I was told at check out that I would recieve the $50 back in 5 to 10 business days. It has been 3 month since my travel and they still have yet to return that money. The slots did not work right and based on that my adult son and I did not want to spend any money.

I like the buffet, the café and other on site amenities. Spacious parking lot. The room was neat and clean. The facility is aging but well maintained. Aged hotels have generally larger rooms, which is a plus.

The buffet cost has risen substantially. They did not sponsor the the Huntsman World Games this year which was disappointing. With the increase in the buffet and not sponsoring the game makes it less attractive over St George hotels.

It’s a convenient stop between Tucson and SLC.

Perhaps it’s a minor thing, but it does seem like the flooring in the elevators could stand to be redone. They seem a little old and dirty. I think the mid-week pricing is great ($50 range) for a no frills place, but when it hits over $100 on the weekend, it’s a little high, considering no fridge or microwave or breakfast is included, like at other hotels.

Close to freeway and the cafe was delicious. And staff was friendly.

Bed was old and frame felt like it was going to break. Parking where my room was wasn’t the best. Told staff I had knee surgery and I needed a room on the ground floor, which they did, but I thought my parking was going to be in front of my hotel room. My room was nowhere near the parking so I had to walk a lot further than I needed to.

This hotel is very clean, which is number 1 on my requirement list. Basic amenities in the room, but fine for our stay. Although we didn't use it, the pool area looked nice with comfortable furnishings. Super convenient to the Casino and Restaurants. Some two floor buildings, some 3 floor buildings. We were top floor of a 3 floor and it even had an elevator.

Nothing...it worked perfectly for our overnight stay.

I loved that my kids enjoyed themselves so much. Having a swimming pool and arcade was great, the bedroom was very clean and I also loved that we were actually given the option if we wanted to be close to the swimming pool or not. I will definitely stay here again.

I like that there's something for everyone to do. The adults and the kids I will definitely book with them again when I come back.
