On the beach, great time

We did not know that we needed to close/lock garage metal doors while we were there. We were burgarlized in the middle of the night while sleeping. The burglar entered through our beach door and stole our money out of our wallet. My husband luckily woke up and chased the burglar out of our house. It was scary, we wish we would have been told to be more cautious. There are no safes in the room.

Rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped if a little tired. Staff were very helpful. It was well located on a nice beach in north west of Moorea and very handy for all the day trips around the area. And it had a washing machine and dryer which was a real bonus on a 2 week holiday.

Property itself was fine but there was no restaurant or bar there. There a bar and restaurant next door at Le Tipaniers and although the food was ok there, I found the staff quite surly and really unhelpful. It would be so much better if the Moorea Sunset Beach had its own bar and restaurant so that you don’t have the experience of Le Tipaniers.

Very quiet, 1 minute from the beach, 10 mins walk to a great shop. The nearby restaurants are very good too, particularly A l’heure du sud and snack Mahana, casual but oh so delicious (only open lunch times) Generous patio which a huge shade for sun a sun rain protection Very comfortable beds and bathrooms with great quality bath and beach towels Dishwasher and washing machine in the apartment.

French Polynesia has amazing coffee and yet there is no cafetière in the otherwise well appointed kitchen. There are only coffee pods for sale which are not environmentally friendly. Not one dish washer tablet included in the price of the room Not beach beds Be aware that the current at the beach can be strong.

Great location! Very nice staff. Comfortable accommodations. Two minute walk to the beach. The beach was beautiful with lots of shade, soft sand and incredible sunsets. Very close to a pier and activity center where you can rent kayaks, boats and scuba gear. Close to a grocery store called Magazin Tiahura where you can find anything you may need. It’s also close to a restaurant and cafe about 5 minute walk away.

We had a garden bungalow that had one room air conditioned. While we were thankful for the cool air in the bedroom, it would’ve been nice to have cool air in the rest of the house. If you kept the living room glass doors open it would let in cool breezes but also let in unwanted bugs and lizards.

This is the perfect location for those that want to visit the sandbar full of baby sharks and rays! Walk straight to the beach and go! Boat and kayak rentals are also just steps away. Check-in was also super easy with very friendly staff! Kitchen was well equipped plus in-unit washer and dryer perfect for a relatively remote island.

The air conditioning is only for 1 bedroom. The second bed is upstairs and only has a fan. The pull-out couch is in the living room, that also does not have AC. Be prepared! The space is good for 4, but very tight for 6. Either way, dinner table is outside in a very pretty deck. Bring mosquito repellent!

The beach of the hotel is the one popping out when you type "Moorea" on Google, with snorkeling reef and lagoon just in front of you. Really a great place, close to restaurants and best places on the island. We were in the garden bungalow, with 2 bedrooms, one upstairs. We tried many restaurants around, but the room offers also a full kitchen. Beach towels are provided, as well as a closed parking. Wifi quality was very good!

Cleaning was twice per week, that could be increased considering the sand in the room, despite the outside shower present and used.

very friendly and informative welcome/check in. super clean, big shower. nice art work on walls. very well appointed , theres even a washing machine. easy parking bed was really comfortable. huge balcony. small details like foot shower at bottom of stairs to remove sand . close to beach, and the beach is lovely, has lots of fish, little reef sharks and rays. easy to rent boats ( v slow and limited area you can go in) and kayaks and SUPs. nice sunset. easy walk to nearby supermarket , restaurants , ATM ( restocked on fridays) and souvenier shops. had best cocktail and delicious meal there, over the road is an artist house/ BNB that has a lovely garden with delish icecream and a small bar. this is very comfotable holiday accomodation and was a great way to end an epic 2 weeks in french polynesia, wish we could have stayed longer!

its a bit pricey but we thought it was worth it as was very comfortable and near everything. there was a bit of maintence work going on but didnt disturb us. slightly overlooked by other appartments

The location of this place is AMAZING - lots of great snorkeling spots nearby. And theres a small grocery shop not far. The apartment is nice and spacious.

Just a handful of small things which could have made the stay perfect. Having a kitchen is so handy, but would have been nice to have a few basic things like coffee. There was no room service, so had to keep asking for toilet roll at reception. Also didnt get the reason why we had to put our rubbish in the trash on our last day. Surprisingly, our wifi connection was pretty bad.

Accomodation photos on website looked much better than what it was actually. We had a garden view apartment which are a little tired. The view from your outdoor area is just looking into the back of the apartment in front of you, so not much of a garden view. The units did have full kitchen & full laundry. Outdoor furniture was good. A short walk through the property to a nice beach which wasn’t too busy. Close to a few restaurants & pharmacy.

There was no basics items in the kitchen on arrival ( tea, coffee, salt & pepper) which would have been nice to have for your arrival. When you are travelling from overseas this makes a huge difference. Kitchen items were a little odd, 1 pot but lots of baking pans ☹️. Blanket in bedroom wardrobe looked dirty & stained.

The facility was nice and it was close to the beach. The beach was wonderful as we rented a small boat to go snorkeling with the ray and sharks. The reef was so close and so much fun. There were restaurants close by that were yummy. I would definitely recommend snack Mohanna. It was so delicious.

The only downside to me was that there was only air-conditioning in the bedroom so the kitchen and upstairs were very hot. It was nice to be able to have a kitchen to make a few things but it would have nice to at least have salt and pepper in the cupboard.
