Staff at reception are perfect! Very friendly! Rooms are clean, big. There is only one restaurant except bistro bar. The waitress in the restaurant was very rude. We came at 9:40 for breakfast, only after 17 minutes she managed to come to our table to take orders. After 20 minutes I reminded her that she didnt bring our drinks. She told that our restaurant is closed and we dont accept orders, in a rude way. After explaining that its her fault, she brought it. Beach 3/10 Restaurants 3/10 Rooms 9/10 Reception 10/10

Food, facilities, road to hotel

The whole hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay from start to finish! The room was very spacious and the bathroom was great, everything was incredibly clean. The staff were very helpful with any requests, arranged taxis for us, a guided tour around Cagliari etc. We ate in the restaurants throughout our stay at the food was wonderful, especially the breakfasts and evening meals. The waiting staff in the restaurants were especially attentive and were able to make adjustments for my dietary needs easily. The beach is on the smaller side but a gorgeous place to paddle in the clear water and enjoy the sun. Thank you to everyone for such a lovely stay :)

Nothing. Everything was great. Only thing missing for me was a place to get an icecream!

The property was stunning. Very well maintained with lovely outdoor amenities including a lovely restaurant with outdoor seating. The room was clean with a spacious bathroom and terrace The breakfast was fabulous as were the staff at breakfast. Reception staff - in particular one gentleman was exceptional - very very helpful

These are not criticisms but rather suggestions for the owners- While one can order drinks and snacks from the bistro throughout the day- actual drink service to both pool areas would be fabulous- particularly down by the beach pool I would also suggest the addition of a gym and spa if possible

We liked the fact that you could split your time between the beach area/pool/sea with that of the main pool in the gardens..it was the best of both worlds….. We loved the Bistro…….great lunchtime venue and after dinner chilling……and the friendship of Gianmarco who made us feel so welcome.. Loved the salt water pools….and the tranquility of the gardens….no traffic pollution/noise……. Loved eating dinner al fresco every night by the pool……clear skies, amazing food and exceptional wines, recommended by the resident Sommelier - Pierandrea…..great experience learning about Sardinian wine… It is an amazing independently owned hotel - Nicola Palomba, the owner, who is very hands on and welcoming….felt like a very warm, friendly and intimate hotel….we LOVED it….

I was truly impressed by the facilities. The grounds are exceptionally well maintained, showcasing a wide variety of plants that bring vibrancy and character to the setting. I also appreciated how the local architecture has been thoughtfully preserved, giving the place a sense of authenticity and harmony with its surroundings. The easy access to the sea adds a wonderful touch, making the location even more special. What stood out most, however, was the personal touch from the managing director—their close attention to detail is evident in every aspect, creating an atmosphere that feels both professional and warmly cared for.

The only small observation I would make is the opportunity to enhance the Main Street to the entrance to the hotel, which would further complement the otherwise outstanding facilities.

Fantastic setting with the infinity pool leading on to private beach. Dinner and service was great (one of the best Sea Bass we have ever had). I would emphasise just how quiet the hotel is. No noisy roads, boats or planes/flightpaths. A very relaxing and comfortable hotel with good access to other beaches in the area, as well as Cagliari.

There was very little to dislike about this hotel. It's useful having a car if travel beyond the hotel is part of the plan, but it's such a good environment, you possibly don't need to go anywhere.

Very good breakfast, lots of options, a little variety would be a nice touch (it didn’t really change over 6 nights). Juices aren’t fresh (you have to pay extra for that) => I think it’d be good to have at least one fresh orange juice. The swimming pools are nice: the first is in the center of the hotel, next to the tables where people eat, and is clean. But no "interesting view". The second one is at the end of the park which leads to the sea, an infinity pool, and is very nice to relax with an amazing view. Both were clean and salt water. Of course the infinity pool has more people around. It leads to the beach where there were almost nobody (just the week-end a few families, otherwise max 1-2 groups), you can relax there too if you have your stuff with you (highly recommended to enjoy other beaches ;)). The place to enjoy the sea is small if you don’t snorkel, because there are quickly rocks. The staff is very nice and helpful, they helped us book some activities in the area which were very cool. We’d say if you are ready to pay a bit more it’s nice to eat next to your room, but there are very good restaurants by car in the area where you’ll definitely eat the same quality or even better for cheaper. Restaurant in the evening is mostly good, maybe the price is a bit high for what you get, the wines were very good though.

Nothing that we really didn’t like. Have a car or a motorcycle to enjoy the region, the hotel leads to a high traffic road not very interesting with bikes and impossible by foot.

A wonderful hotel! The staff were very attentive and friendly, they really made it a special trip for us. The location is very relaxing and tranquil which was perfect for us on the last leg of our honeymoon. The food at the hotel is delicious, we would recommend the half board option as the dinners are excellent - a four course menu which changes each day. The food offered at the bar is also great and very varied (a range of seafood, meat dishes, pasta etc) which we had for lunch a few times - see photo. The hotel offer (paid) shuttle services to the local town and two beaches which is great if you want to get out and about as the hotel is quite isolated otherwise - but so beautiful and well-equipped that you could easily stay on-site your whole holiday if you just want to relax by the pool! We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

There are a few very minor points to note - firstly, for us the location was great, but for some travellers the remote setting could be an issue. Secondly, we thought more information could have been provided at check-in (specifically about how the restaurant worked, if we needed to book a table, and what was included for half board) as this wasn’t clear to us when we arrived - but all sorted quickly when we spoke to other staff the next day! Finally the food was all delicious however it would have been great to have a few more vegan options, as some of the dishes were repeated during our stay (while the meat/fish/vegetarian dishes all changed daily for dinner). However these are minor points and overall we absolutely loved our stay!

We are 100% Sardinian and we live 40 minutes away from the hotel and we had a wonderful time. Everything was just perfect , from the staff, to the spacious and welcoming room with traditional Sardinian features. We had a private entry for accessing our room and a private balcony with comfortable chairs and table overlooking the gardens and the pool.The food was excellent, local and fresh. The menù changes everyday and they can accomodate any special request. The breakfast Is very rich and varied.Excellent value for money. The owner was at the hotel everyday and always greeting the guests and ready to accomodate any our needs. They do also have and inhouse sommelier which offers excellent suggestions on wines. The pools, infinity pool and gardens are so well kept. There Is also a private beach with crystaline water. We left fully relaxed.We can say for sure that this was ourtj best holiday as ever. For sure we are coming back hopefully next year. Thank you for having us!

The Hotel Costa Dei Fiori was a beautiful paradise to spend 5 days. The gardens within the hotel are beautiful and very well kept. With a choice of 2 clean pools (a large main pool and a smaller more private infinity pool) and a small path takes you down to a private natural beach, gives you the option to swim in turquoise sea. The staff were always lovely and gave very good recommendations for wine and activities outside the hotel. Nothing seemed like an effort and dinner every night was relaxing and enjoyable. The room was spacious and cleaned daily with a lovely patio to relax on before dinner in the evening. Will definitely re-visit.
