Wether you’re on a transfer or planning to have a look around Van, I’d really suggest this place. Very clean and friendly staff, free coffee and tea in the lobby and waiting room, very attentive personnel and Taxi and airport nearby. You have EVERYTHING you need in your room and more. For your cruise around, you can take mini vans passing by the road (around 20-25 lira per person to the city center and back, or to the others sides of the Van Lake. I’d suggest watching sunset in Edremit Park. :)

Few convenient stores around but getting to the downtown with Dolmus (If I’m writing it correctly) is cheap, cool and and adventurous! Nothing wrong with the Hotel.

There is no space out of the hotel to sit If we want to sit down on chairs outside we have to order something from restaurant, it was not good There is no water in the refrigerator There is no tea bags There is no toothbrush

Nice location, close to the airport. Great bed, nice shower and a lot of facilities. Also got a nice cookie on check-in. Food in restaurant and bar is good, with very nice red wine by the glass (not expensive!).

A/C in the room only does warm air, even on 'cool' mode. One staff member at the reception was quite unfriendly and unhelpful. Probably didn't speak English very well and hence treated me with some disdain. His colleague was very friendly and she helped with everything I asked.

Great hotel. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Great pool with amazing spa. And breakfast was heaven. Staff was friendly as well and helped us out when we needed info about going to the island.

It's a minor detail, but we were obliged to wear swimming caps, which we had to buy in the hotel for the ridiculously pricey amount of 100 TRL per piece.

Breakfast was good. Room was also okay.

We were 3 people and the third one slept in a sofa bed, VERY uncomfortable as it was uneven. Two seperate things. Need to keep.in mind to add extra bed, not a sofa as a bed. Location is far from center if you plan yo visit the city.

Everything was just fine, the best hotel we’ve visited during our latest travel to Turkey. Would recommend the Doubletree hotel to any traveler.

Every time you could order food and it will serve in your room. The quality of food was excellent.

The TV voice volume is limited on 20 and it was too low like we didn't hear the movie's voice

Excellent facilities, very friendly staff and a great dining hall. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The staff provided a packed breakfast at 6am on check out. The view of Lake Van across the road was impressive.
