The gym was good, pool nice, bed comfortable. There was a mall next door which is useful. Staff friendly. Definitely choose to stay here if you're visiting Yangon. We checked out downtown and it wasn't very nice. This area around the lake is much, much nicer.

This isn't specific to the hotel, but it's very difficult to access normal websites like in basically every other country in the world due to government restrictions. It's actually easier in China. It seems that all VPNs are blocked, as are eSIMS. We had to leave 7 days earlier than expected as we couldn't access anything that we needed to. Again, not specific to the hotel.

From the miniute I arrived the staff was so attentive, they just can not do enough for you. The modern hotel is very well and tastefull designed and decorated. Large rooms with wood like floors and high ceilings. Bathroom with a tub and seperate walk in shower. Huge and comfortable beds. I like that when you open the door the entrance light comes on so you can see to put the card key in the slot. Very good lighting and well placed controls. The staff are really what makes any hotel, and here they go above and beyond. Especially at the buffet breakfast and evening buffet. They are so attentive and seem to anticipate your every need, even bringing me dishes to try. They are amazing. Food is also very good, vast selection and high quality. A small but complete fitness center with a great view of the lake. Huge pool and even an area with astro turf to walk around. Unfortunately at this time of year air pollution was unhealthy so I didn't use outside facilities. I travel all the time and I'm pretty picky. So the only minor thing was that when you walk into the entrance there is no information directing you to the 4th floor to check in, but this does not detract from the overall quality of the hotel and amazing staff, which did direct me to the 4th floor when I asked about reception.

The room is very comfortable and big. I love the view. The breakfast offers a variety of food. The bed is very soft and big. The free toiletries in the room smells really good. The bathroom was amazing. I liked the layout. There was a safe, which I used. I enjoyed that the dressing area was separate. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I was given vouchers but only after my second or third day. By that time I had already used the Spa. It would be ideal if they can give the vouchers at the latest the day after arrival.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with an amazing design and perfect, peaceful location. Great breakfast with local and international dishes. Huge and very comfortable room. Great gym. Our concierge Tim helped us organize a trip to the Golden Rock and was very helpful in everything else. The mall downstairs is great for a coffee or a quick lunch.

Some staff members couldn’t understand what we needed, but everyone was very polite and helpful. Pool area was not well kept, it was always a little dirty (the pool is perfectly clean, just the surrounding area). Room service is probably the most expensive meal you can have in Myanmar. A dinner for 2 without alcohol costed more than the room - and it is nothing extraordinary. Overall, these are just small details that could be improved and the stay was perfect regardless!

Excellent property with spacious rooms and bathrooms. The paid upgrade to a lake view was well worth it. The breakfast buffet, however, was quite expensive. Staff were consistently polite and courteous.

Check-in was unusually slow, and my paid upgrade further delayed the process. At 3:30, I was told the room would not be ready until 5:00, which was inconvenient. Additionally, tea at the restaurant $6 per cup felt overpriced. Nonetheless, the overall experience was positive.

Everything! The location is perfect - just across the beautiful Kandawgyi Royal Lake. The hotel is connected to a shopping center, cafes and restaurants. All the staff from the front desk to the restaurant staff to the housekeeping to the hotel manager demonstrated top-notch customer service. I booked a deluxe and got a suite like room at an executive level. My room is very spacious with a separate living room, a dressing room, a working space, and a huge bathroom overlooking the lake. I wish I had stayed longer here. The best hotel in Yangon!

The breakfast at Wyndham Hotel was truly exceptional, with a diverse and delicious array of options to satisfy every palate. The reopened business launch at Wyndham Hotel was truly excellent. Lanna and Eyon's super friendly and polite demeanor added an extra layer of warmth and professionalism to the event. Their exemplary service significantly contributed to the overall positive experience, making it a memorable and enjoyable occasion for all attendees.

There is nothing to complain about; the stay was exceptional. Congratulations to the management and staff for the brilliant work.

Feels like a five star hotel that is truly grand, with such an incredibly low price. The rooms are well decorated, and the beds are extremely comfortable. I stayed in a Lakeview room and it was incredibly beautiful. I will definitely be returning. This would be a fantastic place just to spend pampering yourself for a week for the purpose of relaxing.

The air conditioning will not cool the room to the temperature that I like to sleep at.

I like the warming welcoming ambiance of the lobby hall, welcoming and lovely staffs and the decoration of our room (modern yet grand).

When we stayed there for 2 days, the noises from the neighbor rooms are quite irritating. I understand that families can be there as their staycations or leisure stays. But, we encountered a violent banging to our door several times and that freaks us out. Kids are playing at our corridor and they are the ones who bang ours. No matter what, we felt very uncomfortable at that time.

Everything was perfect: the breakfast, dinner, fitness center, pool, and even took cool, evening sockless walks on astroturf garden area outside pool. Special thanks to the front desk for the room upgrade and to the breakfast room staff who bought soy milk for me because I am allergic to regular milk. They were very kind and attentive.

Everything was great. The people of Myanmar are wonderful and the staff at this hotel were exceptional. Will always stay there whenever in Myanmar.
