Comfort Suites exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean, large and we enjoyed having a couch to hang out on. The pool area was clean and well stocked. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was hot, well stocked and spotless. We enjoyed the beautiful Christmas decorations also. We will stay here again.

Breakfast was good variety.

Breakfast hours posted in Guest Services book in room state 6:00-9:30 am weekdays, but 1 of the 5 days we were there, we went to breakfast at 9:05 and food was bare. Then we noticed 9:30 had been taped over with 9:00 on a small sign in dining area. Disappointing! Need to update Guest Services books in room. Guest Services book also states checkout is 12 pm. Was called ~ 11:30 on final day reminding us checkout was 11:00. Told him website and Guest Services book indicated checkout is 12 noon. He responded in an almost threatening voice, "I will give you until 12:00."

We have stayed here a few times before. Always found the rooms and lobby clean and well maintained. I needed an early check in and the staff happily accommodated my request. The breakfast was good. There were waffles, eggs cooked liked a small omelette with cheese in the center and sausage patties. Coffee is available 24/7 and not just during breakfast.

Staff doesn’t stay at the front of the desk often. So you can go call frequently. Not to mention it seems like a safety risk that anyone can just walk in, go to a room and try to break in, kidnap or steal. Seems extreme but it often happens now. I’d recommend better security.

This is one of my top two in Brookings and we have stayed at all the hotels in town.

Due to new student orientation crowds the pricing seemed a bit high. Still acceptable but maybe 15% higher than expected.

Great location. Easy on/off the interstate. The room was in good repair and very clean.

The breakfast was the main drawback. Lower quality foods, very little healthy/fresh options. Limited selections.

24 hour coffee and tea was great. Staff were excellent. The room was large with a nice living area in addition to the bed area. We were able to check in an hour early.

Not enough seating at breakfast. But the food was sufficient, and plenty of it.

Housekeeping staff was really helpful. Afternoon, evening and overnight desk workers were absolutely wonderful. The evening lady on the 4th was really amazing and deserves a raise. Breakfast was actually really good for hotel food and the selection was nice. Beautiful campus. Rooms were a pleasant surprise. Pool area was nice. It was our wedding weekend and our family and friends that stayed for awhile to visit were treated very well. The evening lady I mentioned even helped clean up after they had all left.(very impressed) Even my grandbabies and granddog were happy there. We had 2 rooms in total and both were good. We would definitely stay there again.

The morning lady(who possibly may have been having an off weekend) wasn't as nice as her coworkers. And if your on the 3rd floor on the south end. Be prepared to walk a lot to get around. The elevator location wasn't thought out very well. My wife and I are both disabled and it did bring difficulty to both of us since we were in and out prepping for our wedding and visiting with guests.

The room was exceptionally clean. The front desk was very accomadating since we brought out dog. The breakfast was good, but the help in the kitchen was so polite and extremely nice. She greeted you with a smile. A nice way to start the day!

The toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall, so the toilet paper constantly fell of the holder.

Friendly staff. A new staff member was being trained at the front desk. The trainer was polite and helpful when the new staff member had questions. We did not mind the small delays.
