We were part of an Australian Geographic tour group and stayed 6 days in excellent. unable to be faulted accommodation. We decided to spend a few days either side of our tour at Potshot as well. I booked in with their least expensive room so there was a reasonable difference in the standard. It was comfortable and regardless of the quality of our accommodation the staff were trully excellent. The stay was enjoyable.

The attached restaurant was fine for me but my wife is allergic to garlic and there was nothing but a bag of chips from the bottle shop available.

We stayed in room 116 - 3 bedroom townhouse. The property was excellent and spacious for our family of 7! The location was great and we’d definitely book again.

The bathroom was a concern. The shower head sprayed into the exhaust fan, which was inside the shower. The air-con wasn’t on when we arrived, on a 40+ day this would have been nice. The mezzanine was intolerable for sleep - we put the mattresses downstairs for the entire stay, as the air-con didn’t reach. Also needs a cutlery top up. Nothing we couldn’t manage though - it was a great stay overall and we’ll be back!

Was a lot happier once we were paid for an upgrade.

The accommodation we actually booked and paid for was basic, however, was shocked at how basic it actually was. It was disgraceful, I did tell the receptionist I would not have housed my dog in the room that was allocated. We paid to upgrade to what they had available and to be fair was not that more expensive. Once happy with the accommodation we had a fantastic stay. Would recommend, however, DON’T GO BUDGET!!!!!

Spacious 6 bunk dormitory room with ensuite shower room and airconditioning. The bunk bed was suppprtive and comfy. one of the best I've had in a dormitory. Bar meals good and convenient in the bar dining room next door to my room. a little noisy on friday nights up until midnight. Otherwise quiet. The pool is lovely and another bar serves that. You can eat snacks and meals at tables near the pool. Laundry was good.

Nothing really. the noisy friday was OK as I joined in the mayhem until closing time.

Basic room in donga style accomodation. Clean and comfortable but don’t expect any luxuries for this price. Shared communal kitchen was good with lots of young travellers to talk to. Shared laundry facility was a bonus. The Potshot Hotel was a great place for dinner and drinks right next door to our accomodation.

Noisy Saturday night music from the pub but really it was ok and ceased around 11pm.

It’s a great location, there is live music and a decent but little expensive bar and restaurant on site. I loved that all the rooms have their own fridge and freezer (instead of communal) and their own bathrooms. Definitely the low cost travelers heaven in Exmouth.

The kitchen is not very well equipped, and while one of my rooms was nice and clean, the second I stayed in needed some plumbing work and was a bit dirty too.

Have been staying atPotshot for man years, great central location, easy walk go central shopping centre.

Rooms are looking old and tired, well overdue for a refurbishment. Some items (mop, dustpan, toaster) were broken, replaced when we told reception, but housekeeping should have noticed. Lounge suite is very old and looked uncleaned for ages. Outdoor furniture was dirty. Love the Potshot but it really needs an upgrade for cost.

Location was perfect - less than 10-minute walk to city centre and coffee shops, restaurants & bars & other shops and facilities

All good, maybe a chair in those budget rooms (where I was) and maybe a separate table or facility to put your suitcase on, rather than the floor. There was a chair outside. Otherwise rooms were large and comfortable.

The budget room was certainly budget. Very minimal, but comfortable. The inn next door was fantastic. Able to watch any sport I wanted (nrl) and the manager was both talkative and very helpful.

There was no cutlery in the room except for teaspoons, so I had to go to the supermarket to buy bowls and spoons. Pretty dark room, but comfortable. I mean you only sleep in it.

Room was clean and spacious Bistro was very pleasant Pool area had a nice ambience

Music was toooooooo loud sometimes in the pool area No outdoor seating area near the double story units an area with seating and a gazebo would be perfect rather than sitting in the room early morning and evening with a coffee
