This property is beautiful- on a secluded plot of land slightly outside the city center (about 10-15 mins walk). Every single staff member from the owners to the kitchen staff, and maintenance were so friendly and helpful. the owners in particular emphasized that “this is your home” and that really sums up the stay. fully stocked kitchen, fridge with free drinks, water fountains, laundry services, and especially personalized attention- they all knew my name which I find rare in a hotel. I liked it so much I even added an extra night to my stay- no problems at all. I highly highly recommend Casa Solcor and only wish I could have stayed longer

There was one night where my heat didn’t work well, but this was fixed immediately by the owner and ensured it wasn’t a problem the next night.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Solcor. Everyone who works there is lovely and so helpful. The hotel and rooms are very well considered and appointed, it’s a beautiful property and well maintained. It’s not that we didn’t like anything, we had an excellent stay, the only minor feedback we have is that it would be great to have breakfast start before 8am. The staff leave things like fruit and yoghurt available all day so it’s helpful to have that as an option but you’re often out for long days and a big breakfast can be really helpful when you’re leaving for the day at 7-7.30am. The property is on the edge of town, around a 10 minute walk, on our first night walking to town for dinner it felt very dark and quiet but quickly realised it’s a safe town.

This boutique hotel is located about 10 minutes walk from the center of San Pedro de Atacama. This is not a disadvantage as San Pedro is quite busy and dirty. The hotel is very well kept, service is outstanding, has a small pool, we got a huge room. It is design hotel, you get access to the fridge and you can serve yourself during the day if you are hungry or thirsty. The breakfast is great, has a very nice garden and has parking inside, which is not so easy to find in San Pedro

It 's not an issue for us as we don't like air conditioning, but it is important to mention that the rooms have a ventilator, not air conditioning. Yes, it is an expensive hotel, but you get high value and we had a very pleasant stay. It does not have a restaurant, but there is one, which is excellent very near.

The hotel itself is incredibly beautiful and well designed. There are many spaces such as lounge areas, living rooms, kitchens and pool areas where you can wind down and relax after a strenuous day of activities and hiking. The staff is so helpful and welcoming that we felt immediately right at home. They helped us organize tours, find restaurants and even our transfer to our next stop on the trip. They had an answer to almost every question, and if they didn’t, they found one within an hour or two and sent it to us per WhatsApp. The breakfasts were amazing and coffee, tea, oats and cereals were available all day with many alternative milk options. They even made us to-go breakfasts in a bag for the days where our tour left early in the morning. We wouldn’t even think about staying anywhere else when visiting San Pedro again.

After traveling for decades all over the world, this is one of my favorites of all time. It has been tastefully designed and decorated in a classy organic style, creating a great atmosphere inside and out. The breakfast buffet was exceptional with a variety of choices. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible, especially Paula, Karina, and Victor, who helped us with upgrades, bookings, logistics, laundry, and packing food when we had early excursions . All around a 10.

TL;DR: Everything about it was just magical, service, design, location, food, the outdoor area, the room and bathroom, all amazing! Super friendly staff. A true oasis in the middle of the desert. My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Casa Solcor during our trip to Atacama, and we cannot say enough good things about it! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive Patricio and his wife, who went out of their way to ensure that we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Our room was simply stunning, with high spec and standard furnishings that provided a true feeling of luxury and relaxation. We especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the beautiful bathroom, which was equipped with all the amenities we needed for a truly indulgent stay. The breakfast provided at the hotel was of exceptional quality, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from each morning, a true 5* breakfast and free bottled water too! For those of you who enjoys interior design and decoration, you will absolutely love every aspect of this hotel! Perhaps the most memorable aspect of our stay, however, was the level of support and advice offered by all the staff throughout our visit. They were always on hand to answer any questions we had and provide valuable recommendations on local attractions and activities. This level of service truly made our stay at the hotel even more special, and we would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for an exceptional experience in Atacama. Overall, we can only say great things about Casa Solcor, and all the hospitality from Patricio and all the other staff. From the warm welcome to the high spec/standard of the room and the quality of the breakfast, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. Everything was amazing! The breakfasts are plentiful, snacks available throughout the day, great service and friendly staff, comfy and warm beds (we were here in August and then nights are cold!), a pool and hot tubs, bikes available (though we did not use), cozy shared areas, and only short walk away from town! We even recurved a free upgrade! I'd love to come back when it's warmer and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

The property is stunning. There's lots of attention to detail, with beautiful art in every corner. There's a lovely courtyard with a pool and lots of seating areas and canopied daybeds. There's lots of common seating areas everywhere, indoor and outdoor. Staff are super helpful and friendly. They helped me book an affordable shared transport back to the airport on my last day that I wouldn't have been able to find/access on my own for that rate, and were super friendly/accommodating when I locked myself out of my room or safe (woops). Breakfast is very nice and goes until 11 AM which is a nice touch for those of us who like to sleep in. Beautiful desert oasis and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Wifi was poor unfortunately. Essentially did not have wifi in my room. Better in common areas (thankfully these are abundant, so you can often find an empty area) but still spotty. Room was on the smaller side but enough for me as a single person, and bathroom was sizeable and there's also an outdoor seating area (private). About a 15 min walk from centre of town; not far by any means, but may be less than ideal when your tour drops you off there at the end of a long day and it's hot/dusty/high altitude (or walking alone at night).

Amazing place! Everything was above and beyond our expectations! There was complimentary snacks and drinks available in the common kitchen area for guests, rooms were excellent, comfy and brand new (incl. usb-c outlets), with toiletries, incl. hand moisturizer. There was breakfast each morning. The place offers free bikes which I used for a long 20km dirt road trip and it handled perfectly. The owner helped us every day with planning out what to visit. I mean there isn't anything we could have asked more for!
