The breakfast was really well prepared, with fresh tea and home made strawberry jam along with banana and rhubarb jam, which was excellent. The house is just a short walk from the town centre, although we were happy to get back to the comfort of our en-suite room.

Unfortunately, we could only stay one night, plus trying to get food in la Rochefoucauld beyond 9pm is nearly impossible.

'Les Tilleuls' is a traditional rural B&B run by a friendly hostess and is ideal for an overnight stay when visiting the area. A clean room, a comfortable bed and a good shower offer great value-for-money (especially as secure parking is available free of charge). The fruit, bread, jams, juice and hot drinks offered for breakfast are a bonus.

The small TV (with only French speaking channels) and no tea/coffee making facilities in the room were a bit disappointing.

A lovely house surrounded by lush gardens and a dedicated car park greets the visitor. The room was large and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was delicious - especially the home made fruit salad!

The whole set up was a delight. We were not expecting a living/kitchen area along with a bedroom / bathroom area upstairs. Catering for us with a range of pastries and bread for breakfast, fantastic coffee and a fully equipped dining space meant we could enjoy our 'picnic' dinner easily. Waking up surrounded by snow was the 'icing' on the cake

I felt the bed and pillows could have been more comfortable, especially the long single pillow. The shower and toilet area were a bit exposed, seemingly part of the bedroom rather than an en-suite

Beautiful house and very pleasant and kind lady greeted us. The breakfast was very good with fresh fruit salad, juice and croissants. A very enjoyable experience at a reasonable price.

Spacious room in a large interesting and beautiful house with character. Very friendly hosts. Large parking space. Large en suite bathroom with intriguing high-tech spa bath. Very good breakfast in large dining room overlooking the estate.

The property was very quiet and clean The house was lovely and the owners were helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast with homemade jams.
