It was just as wonderful as I had imagined. Dinner and breakfast were also delicious. The tajine pot was especially tasty. There was a bathtub in the room, and since it was very windy and cold at Abu Simbel Temple, it was nice to be able to soak in the bathtub when we got home. I asked a driver to drive me here from Aswan Airport, and he was very helpful. I am very grateful. I have been to Giza, Cairo, and Luxor, but The Nubian House in Abu Simbel was a place where time passed slowly, and we woke up to the birds singing. It was an unforgettable and wonderful memory for us. Thank you very much❤️

The hot water was poor. It was cold at night, so I wanted to relax and warm myself up with a hot shower, but after a while, only cold water came out.

If you visit Abu Simbel, you need to stay here The accomodation gives feeling of living in Nubian village type houses. Very beautiful Rooms are big, extremely clean. Beds are the most comfortable we slept on. Staff is very helpful and friendly Very close to Abu Simbel temple (5 mins drive) Breakfast is basic and homely. Omlette and bread basket with butter, jam and honey I liked the bread which is soft at top and crusty at bottom. Hot coffee or tea is provided

For Lunch or dinner, the food takes minimum 45-60 mins to arrive. Please improve the food service and delivery times. 1* cut only due to this reason

The restaurant on site is good. We had dinner and breakfast there and were happy with both experiences. The portions are good, and the bread with the dips were delicious. The location is 20 minutes walk to the temple. The property owners are very friendly and helpful.

There is no shower curtain so water gets all over the bathroom floor, and we ran out of hot water halfway through our shower. It would be a good idea to install shower curtains to prevent water damage and guests from slipping. Lack of counter space in the bathroom, lack of closet to hang things. There is a dresser but you can't hang anything from it, nor were there any hangers to wash and dry your belongings.

All, everything is perfect, the hospitality, staff very very friendly, very close from the temples but if you don't want walk, the hotel has a tuk tuk. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. If you are looking a real Nubian experience, this is the place. We lost the 1st night and the owner offered stay one night more. The road to Abu Simbel is close for tourists at 5pm so if you arrive in Aswan late (between 4-5 pm)to be pickup by a taxi, is impossible you can go to Abu Simbel, is better you stay one night in Aswan and Next day Go. You can arrange everything with the hotel, taxi and stay one night in Aswan, also they have a new beautiful nubio hotel in Aswan. Thank you very much to owner and all team Kabara Nubian House.

Little warm water for shower, I missed a coffee maker and better wifi.

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very well docorated, beautiful looking place. Clean rooms and awesome food. Helped us book a sunset boat tour.

When I saw on the map and read in reviews that it was on Lake nassar, I was disappointed upon arriving that there is in fact no view at all of the lake. The place is situated on a reed filled cove of the lake. It's a pretty cove full of plants and wildlife, but not the views I was hoping for. Not a negative necessarily, just want to let other travelers know what to expect.

Very friendly staff. They made us feel instantly at home and looked after any needs that we had. The food was good, they even sorted us out with an early morning pre-breakfast coffee and snack, before offering us proper breakfast later after the sunrise temple experience. They offered us a sunset boat ride on the lake, which is a must do. This is a colourful and relaxed place to stay in Abu Simbel. It’s walking distance to the temples for sunrise. Would stay again.

The shower curtain was a bit fragile and fell apart, and the showers are made for short people.

It’s extremely clean and well decorated. And the food was delicious! But we paid a pricy drink ,in local market it was 6-15 but hotel charged 50.

The hotel management helped us booking the skyline bus ticket back to Luxor with foreigner’s price! One nice elder manager told us it’s 90 last night ,but one day after when we ask the other manager to book for us ,it suddenly became 110! And he lied to us ,he said the difference it’s because he booked another bus company not skyline bus. But the truth is it’s the same bus company. In the end ,he got angry and he told us it works this way in Egypt. All the people in the hotel were in the same side “you have to take it or you can just take local bus!” It’s not a pleasant experience!

Spacious room, extremely clean, nice restaurant nearby.

Be aware of the charge. They charge 30 Egyptian dollars for a bottle of water which normally costs 10 in any shops. Normally the hotels in Egypt would graciously prepare free (2) bottled water. They did not have this service and charged triple.

The place is amazing, views over Aswan and the Nile are incredible. Rooms are really intricately decorated. The food is delicious and the staff are really friendly and helpful. They can help arrange tours making everything very easy. It's not far from the Nubian village and a short car ride into Aswan.

Could be a bit more environmentally friendly, e.g. a lot of unnecessary plastic used for covering food and in breakfast packs - but this was the only downside for me
