the location in this incredible Toltec land with the families that live and work there to provide clean rustic lodging, good restaurants…. many vendors selling handmade items as you climb the stairs and walkways over looking incredible waterfalls… the best “mall” in the world!! great swimming… everyone is kind and helpful

Awesome, affordable spot thats walking distance to the river. Very clean and new cabins. Landscaping was nicely done with plants around. Very friendly staff and kids that help out around the site are a delight.

No toilet seat cover, bathroom door has an opening on the top which I'm guessing is for airflow. Some construction going on that started at 5 am so make sure to wear ear plugs to bed. No hot water but thats not really needed since the climate is warm.

Great new cabins. Very comfortable. Clean and we'll taken care of. The location is excellent, across the central plaza from the falls and restaurants.

Location was excellent, within walking distance of the waterfalls. All kinds of local little restaurants around the corner. Very friendly owners. We had a wonderful time!

Cabañas are a little noisy.

The hosts were always available and helpful. The property was maintained well and felt safe. The beds are not particularly comfortable. The rooms could use some insulation to feel a little more secure. While this place may not be perfect for everyone, it is probably one of the better places in the area. FYI - while we were there in January 2021, the strip/tourist area shut down pretty early. Their restaurant, located on the main strip, had pretty solid food but terrible service.

You can walk to Agua Azul, but really that's it.

The price of this place is way to high for what you get. If this place was cheap then it would be more oke, expect nothing. The bed sheets were full of stains and there is nothing like soaps, not even a small soap bar to wash your hands!! The bed is really hard, old and bad. Only a fan hanging high on the ceiling from which you can't control the wind direction. it will get really hot and humid in this place!! The place/surroundings looks totally abandoned or neglected and the rooms looks really old. In the surrounding there is a lot of trash and animal poo. The people in the restaurants are super annoying and the food is bad. The staff won't give you any information about restaurants or where to go, so we ended up in a really weird place behind the cabins which looked like a ghost town. You can hear the neighbors really loud because of the thin wooden wall. Also: don't go to Agua Azul if it rains. The waterfalls will turn brown and look like a natural disaster. If not, then the place is nice but very touristy.

- Unfriendly personal - No toilet lid - everywhere faeces from animals in the room - everything was dirty and the toilet smelled very bad after every flush - a few Cockroaches in the room - the house had holes that insects came in - no attractions beside the waterfalls (for walking around in the forest you need always a guide)
