The grounds were beautiful and it was nice to have the river nearby and a pool. We also really enjoyed the snack bar.

Everything was really expensive and it wasn't as easy to get to the center of Palenque. Food was expensive, taxi rides were expensive, and also the restaurant didn't open until 7 am and there's no place to get coffee or anything to eat nearby

The grounds were stunningly beautiful. I saw monkeys, an iguana and other wildlife while I was there. I enjoyed the pool and the poolside food service. I was traveling with my husband, my mother-in-law and my father-in-law. They had a luggage porter who took our luggage to the rooms. This was very helpful for my in-laws. I was glad the hotel was able to accommodate a first floor room for my in-laws. I liked the river bathing area. We were able to see fish and kayak in a designated area. We also enjoyed the massage services and appreciated the dependable wi-fi.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the breakfast. I would have liked hashbrowns at least one day. They advertise it as an American breakfast, and most have hashbrowns, sausage or bacon. We were there for 2 breakfast days and neither of those items were served. They did have eggs, which were mixed w ham. I would have appreciated some eggs with no meat as an option. Now that I think about it, it may have been an option, but I didn't ask. It wasn't featured on the buffet.

nice property. we got to see monkeys. they have a natural lagoon inside the property.

property over 50 years need updating. in our first room ac did not work so we have to be move. Fire alarm when off in the middle of the night without cause. staff remove it next day. tv too small with a very limited channel option. did not have a shower head in the bathroom

- the pool was lovely - the breakfast was delicious - the nearby lake was stunning - staff made a box lunch instead of the breakfast since we had to leave early in the morning

- be prepared at the poolside bar as you need to pay there as you cannot charge it to your room

We loved the friendly staff, good activity recommendations, hot showers with fantastic pressure, the peaceful jungle-like environment(broken up by the sounds of howler monkeys the last morning we were there, which was pretty cool by the way). Comfortable beds, nice restaurant with great coffee and beautiful views. In yhe last day we left early and they set up some coffee for the group, very nice. We will be back but longer next time so we can explore. Great value for dollar.

There wasn't too much negative to say, only minor criticism or suggestions. The hottub was the coldest pool on the property, that should really have hot water. 🔥 The checkout statement should be explained better, as there was some confusion. The restaurant has good food but should be consistenly good to be great. The room towels, should be upgraded. The rooms are comfy, beds comfy and then out of a hot shower to rough, terrible towels. But overall these are minor issues and I still rate my stay about a 10.

It was nice that, next to the pool, you could swim in the river. The restaurant was nice for dinner. The location in the jungle just outside town with gardens full of butterflies, gekkos, iguanas and capibaras was great.

The breakfast wasn't that big in choice. The double beds are very small (130cm) in the double rooms.

Nice room with views over a well maintained garden. There are two pools (a natural near the restaurant and one at the hotel) and a jacuzzi. The jacuzzi is a bit cold. There’s breakfast included in the room. The options for dinner are OK but not too fancy. Free parking on site.

On-site restaurant had fabulous food with a beautiful overlook on a river. They even had a gluten free cake which is hard to find. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are large, comfortable beds, close to parking and hotel is close to lots of restaurants and shopping.

The hot tub was cold!!!

the property was great , the thing that bothers me the most in the staff that doesn’t know where places are or recommendations to places.. no knowledge! know your job
