We appreciate the care from the Staff; we got cups and a kettle to our room, they helped us when internect connection did not initially work, they were very attentive and genuinely helpful, for which we have been so grateful. They made scrambled eggs for breakfast and the homemade muffins were very tasty! They were also chatty and eager to have a conversation, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is very peaceful and ideal for a short walk in the woods. The room has a lamp that charges a mobile phone - what a great idea! The bathroom was clean and there were several towels provided. We recommend this location as it only took us 40 min. drive to reach Fundy National Park, it is a short drive.

An older motel with updates bathrooms, heat pump that cooleed.the room really fast, comfortable beds, fridge and microwave were old, but worked great. Breakfast was served in the office and you can eat outside on the patio or take back to your room. The owner will cook eggs which was a nice addition to the continental breakfast items available.

There was a recycle bin that was overflowing by the outside ice machine. There were cans and bottles scattered on the ground. It would have been nice not to see that, but it wasn't a big deal.

The owners are lovely persons, the breakfast is really nice, the place is absolutely relaxing, close to Bay of Fundy which is spectacular. Rooms are a bit old with old furniture like you can find in most of the motels in north America but confortable with all the necessary you need: air conditioned, clean private bathroom, microwave, and fridge.

It's a pitty that there are things to throw away stored at the entrance

The owners are the kindest people and they put a great deal of care into their business. The room was super clean and the bed was comfy! This is an old-fashioned classic motor inn that reminds me of places I stayed has a child growing up in the 70s. The motel is located in a lovely spot with picnic tables under tall pines with fairly quiet surroundings. The simple with breakfast was perfect for our needs and included home-baked blueberry muffins and scones. The owner walked us over to our room and made sure we were comfortable and all of our questions were answered when we checked in. Will definitely stay again if I'm back in the area. Such an excellent value. Sussex is a nice little town with everything a traveler might need and has a wonderful bakery, coffee roaster, restaurants, art studios and stores for supplies.

We chose this motel based off reviews. It's a modest little motel and I'm not sure we would have chosen it had we just driven by but reviews were really wonderful and we see why. This motel is in the heart of agricultural country and you do have the occasional wafting through of farmland when you sit outside but don't let that deter you. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly. We were shown our room and how to work the remotes for the newer AC unit and television. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. There was a park-like area outside with picnic tables that was lovely. I think the highlight of our trip were the breakfast. Homemade scones and donuts were a part of the selections and they were amazing! For a simple, unassuming motel, we were very impressed by the attention we received. You just don't see that anymore. We would absolutely stay here again.

When we drove up, the garages were open and looked cluttered. I think that detracted just a bit. I'd consider putting up some pretty latticework or a bushes or something to hide from the public.

Room was very clean. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed and pillow. Quiet location with easy access to Hopewell rocks. Good continental breakfast. Owners were pleasant and helpful in providing directions. Room had small refrigerator and microwave. Had a nice one night stay.

A hair dryer in the room would be nice and an ice machine. These were very minor things and the hosts were lovely people.

The owner made sure that we were well taken care of. He anticipated the questions before we even asked 😊😊 The freshly basked blueberry muffins and blueberry biscuits for breakfast was a wonderful touch. It great, not far from the Bay of Fundy and only a few hours from Peggy's Cove.

Super friendly accommodating couple ran it. Breakfast was delicious, cooked to order, plus perks like homemade scones and muffins! We enjoyed the ambiance, casual and helpful.

Outside, at first glance, could have been tidied up somewhat. There were things piled around a doorway, and stoops were unswept, but it was easy to see how hard the owners worked at keeping it running so efficiently.

The owners of this facility are very kind, thoughtful and pay attention to detail. The husband and wife team go above and beyond to make their guests feel comfortable. It's a few Km from Sussex in a country setting. However, it's worth the short drive for the price and service. They provide a fresh breakfast, with the eggs cooked to your liking. They're very kind caring people. I'd stay there again.

I recommend Pinecone motel to anyone. The owners are super-friendly, accommodating, and cook us eggs everyday during our week of stay. The room is clean, tidy with excellent amenity such as mini-fridge and satellite TV. The most commendable feature is the included hot breakfast and the quality comfortable bed.
