It is close to a motorway exit, but there is no noise since the motorway runs in a tunnel. You get all the advantages of skiing in Val Thorens without having to climb up to over 2000m in your car.

If someone hopes for the ambience of a high-mountain ski resort after skiing, they will not get it in Orelle.

The only grocery shop in Orelle (right next to the hotel) is super expensive. Carrefour is in the bigger town of St Michel but we didn t have a car. Also, the 10 minute cab fare from the train station to the hotel is 40 euro!! Flat fee for all cabs. Beware: you should book your cab at least several days in advance cause there are no cabs waiting at the station and it was difficult getting one to come there last minute. Last: the ski shuttle only runs until 10:30 am and then again only at 15:30, so plan accordingly.

The location is so convenient for access to Orelle and the 3 Valleys slopes. The apartments was clean and well laid out to maximise space. The pool and sauna were lovely after a day on the slopes. The restaurant/bar had a lovely ambience and delicious food. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The jacuzzi was closed for repair during our visit. The pillows were thin and lumpy

The receptionist. The bus driver of the Navarette. The comfortable beds. The swimming pool, the sauna and steam room. The closeness and ease of travel to the three valleys ski area. The ease of free parking. Just loved the whole week. ❤️

swimming pool nice and saunas as well, small but enough. the personnel was really nice to me, helped me get transport to the airport and made sure I had a taxi waiting for me after check in, I know that some people had some issues but I didn’t so putting it out here, really cheap and you get nice views good size apartment with ski room locker which is great

the lack of normal bedsheets and duvets, the fact the village is very small and there is nothing else to do except what’s the residence have to offer, but the price of it sort of tells it

Warm and walcoming restaurant with option for half board, family run, very good food and friendly staff. We even got help from the retaurant ladies with arnica cream for our friend who got hurt by a snowboarder Typical mountain cuisine with lots of cheese, almost everything is made on site, inclusive the bread Very nice and easy going lady at the reception, who speaks well English and helped our non French speaking friends

Nothing, except maybe that bath towels are not included, but one can rent some from the reception

Excellent value and access to a great ski area.

Building 6 3.01 needs more hooks on bedroom door or near the front door to hang ski coats. There is not a single drawer in the whole apartment and a unit under the tv with some drawers that small loose clothes could be put in would be good.

We were lucky enough to have a room that faced down the mountain and weren’t overlooked - it was beautiful. There was enough equipment in the apartment to be easily self catered. The pool area was a wonderful bonus. The restaurant staff were lovely, we had meat fondue twice (must pre book) and it was delicious. Lovely desserts.

Towels aren’t provided. The blankets for the bed don’t seem to be cleaned between guests.

Great apartments in the residence houses, swimming pool, restaurant and grocery store all part of the residence.

All good, as expected. This is a great value for money accommodation in a ski resort close to 3 Vallee ski area.
