What a great find! A lovely little hotel with 8 rooms in a great rural location, quite despite being close to the road. The restaurant was excellent and is obviously frequented by lots of locals as well as staying guests too. We loved everything we ate there. A great swimming pool with shade and a perfect spot to while away the afternoon quietly reading. The staff were lovely and the couple who run the place made a lovely effort for us to enjoy our stay. We felt it was a personal service offered. There were pool towels provided, as well as Sunlounger mattresses. It is a simple and clean place and we felt good value.

The mattress on the bed had a little dip on my side of the bed. My partner’s side was fine

Breakfast was excellent. The pool was large. Our room was very rural but relatively large facing the garden. On Monday when we arrived the restaurant wasn't open but we bought some food at the supermarket and the owners laid a table for us on the terrace so we could have dinner. We were able to purchase some beer and wine too. A very kind gesture as the bar and restaurant were closed. Dinner in the restaurant on Tuesday was excellent

The hotel is nearer to the road than I thought. It was a bit disturbing

Lovely, charming place with familiar atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Even though the hotel is located right next to a road, it's a really quiet place, especially at night. The rooms are rather simple yet cozy and well suited to the character of the building. The choice at breakfast is a little limited, but of high quality and excellent value for money plus the breakfast room and terrace are beautyfully facing the gardens. Dinner was very good as well and the garden invites you to relax as well.

As mentioned before the walls are pretty thin, so you do hear noise from some neighbouring rooms, but during our stay everyone was well-behaved and quiet at nighttime.

The rural setting, despite being by a main road, was lovely and peaceful. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The terrace for evening drinks was lovely and the restaurant had good choices for vegetarians and the service was excellent.

Not much. Breakfast was a little basic but absolutely fine for what we needed.

We just love this hotel. It is quiet, relaxing, peaceful, the perfect place have a chilled out holiday. The rooms are clean and comfortable with all the facilities that you would need. The hotel is set in lovely grounds and has a fantastic, large pool area. If you choose to have breakfast there is plenty of choice to suit all and the hotel restaurant serves the most beautiful food as ever. Andreas, Jackomo and all the staff at the hotel do everything they can to ensure guests have the most perfect stay. We look forward to our return.

We did not have breakfast. but we ate in the restaurant on the two nights. This is a small hotel set out in the country but the restaurant has a very good menu and the food is of a very high quality and is cooked to perfection and well presented.

There was nothing we did not like.

A lovely place with friendly staff. Big plus for the on site restaurant. We had a tasty meal there. Nice and clean rooms. Superb AC and WiFi.

Not a major issue but there was some road noise but only when you were outdoors. The rooms were silent. The pool furniture had seen better days.

The staff were very welcoming, the parking for free in the grounds, a good bowl of pasta in the restaurant for dinner, the possibility of a glass of wine on the terrace. Whilst the hotel is next to a road, the view from my bedroom and the restaurant terrace was countryside; it was quiet and i slept well. The pool was closed (5 Oct) but I noticed a pool towel and sunbed cushion in the wardrobe - nice touch.

The bedside lampshades were cracked and ruined - it gave a bad impression. Not the hotel's fault as it states the pool is seasonal but Booking.com is saying it is open and this could be a disappointment for some.

Welcoming host accommodated our early hours check in and made it easy for us. Fantastic food at the restaurant all home made and super tasty. Drinks were also great value and of good quality. Relaxing atmosphere around the pool!

A member of our group arranged a taxi well in advance through the hotel to our wedding down the road, there and back which was extortionate! Can't believe the price we paid was the going rate, feel like the hotel holds some responsibility for this if the one involved in organising.

Very helpful and comforting owners that run the hotel & restaurant themselves. Both spoke English very well. Place is in really good shape, rooms are nice and have their own A/C. Restaurant was superb and had a varied menu that changes over time - with loads of vegetarian options! Breakfast was also great, lots of variety (fruits, cereal, cheese, ham, bread, jams, honey) and good coffee.
