I'm sorry this is a little late. In all our travels we have never met such a good group of young people working in in one place. Yen, Huie, Thaik, Lam and the lady that cleaned our room - I'm sorry I didn't get your name but you did a wonderful job. Spotless clean. Yen is the perfect person to meet and greet the guests as they arrive. She treated us with respect and friendship and let you know that nothing you might ask is too much trouble. Huie was always there with a smile to help us with anything we might need. Thaik (B) in the restaurant gave great service and was always cheerful, and Lam in the rooftop bar was so nice and so interested in everyone she was serving which makes a big difference in how long you want to stay. Thank you to you all for making us feel so welcome and I hope that the person that hired you all shares their talent with others because they choose you all well. Once again thank you so much for making our stay so good. The transformation of the hotel from when we arrived to when we left was amazing. Everyone worked so hard. I almost hate to give this review because it is a busy hotel as it is and I do hope there is room for us when we are able to go back. See you all again.

It was just perfect.

Gorgeous historic hotel; managers were dedicated to ensuring we were comfortable throughout our two-night stay, and ready for our 4:30am pickup for a boat ride. Rooms charming and clean, housekeeping staff friendly and attentive, memorable rooftop resto-bar, sufficiently good breakfast restaurant on ground floor. Located across the street from the Chao Praya River walkway, which was a pleasant morning and evening stroll. Restaurants, cafes, grocery stores located nearby but not so close as to be noisy. Night market just a few blocks away.

No deficiencies come to mind; I cannot think of anything. Okay, there's always something: The complimentary slippers were a bit iffy --- but they're complimentary and I had to think hard to even come up with that.

We loved everything! The location is amazing, looking out to the river and steps away from great food spots and main sights. You can literally walk everywhere. The decor is simple and cozy that reminds me of a typical Viet mansion in the 30s, lovely vibe. The staff is attentive and always smiley. They have a cute rooftop bar lounge/resto on the 4th floor that overlooks the night market, making it a great spot to throw a quaint date night. Nam Bo Hotel is part of a hospitality/travel group that also offers cruises and day trips. Highly recommend!

We liked everything.

Nam Bo is in an excellent hotel and in a very good location to stay while visiting Can Tho. The buiding has been pleasantly renovated, and it is right across a wide street from the waterfront promenade and wharf, with plenty to see within walking distance. They have dining areas on the ground floor, 1st floor, and 4th floor, and a handful of rooms. We stayed in standard double room #2 for 5 nights in March 2024. Our room was not overly large but it was large enough, and very clean & quiet, with a comfortable bed with a nice, firm mattress, good sheets and cover, a small refrigerator, and a good bathroom. (The shower could use some recaulking.) We looked into a couple of the suites they have, and they were lovely. The 4th floor indoor/outdoor bar/restaurant was perfect for enjoying a cocktail while overlooking the river at sunset. We did not opt to include their costly breakfast, and so took ours al la cart in the 1st floor restaurant. Nicely, the hotel comped our breakfast on our last morning there. Great location, nice staff, and pleasant room: we would be happy to stay at Nam Bo Hotel again if we return to Can Tho.

During our month traveling through Vietnam, this was the only hotel that did not include breakfast with the room, and the charge per person is about $13USD. This was a bit off-putting, especially considering that Nam Bo is run as a full-on restaurant as well as a hotel, and that this price would be high for even the most amazing breakfast spread in Vietnam.

We really enjoyed our stay at Nam Bo Boutique Hotel. Our room (a suite) was very big and comfortable, with good air con. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. The downstairs restaurant (we did not eat at the top-floor French restaurant) was excellent. It is in the “tourist” area of Can Tho, so make sure to visit less touristy parts, such as around the lake. The only downside is that the city puts on live music events on the weekend directly in front of the hotel, which is out of their control, but it is noisy. The music finished by 9pm, though, so it doesn’t affect sleeping. Definitely recommended!

Excellent location near the Ninh Kien wharf diagonally across from the 7.2 metre Ho Chi Minh statue located on the walking river promenade. Within walking distance of the night market and street food stalls but you can also eat at their downstairs restaurant or upstairs at L’Escale with excellent views. Both served delicious food. Many thanks to Yen who went out of her way to welcome us and all her help in getting us transportation to our next location. Yen you are a gem. Special thanks also to our cleaner Emmy who kept the room spotless and for the added fruit plate touches. This is a well managed hotel, rooms are a nice size (recommend corner balcony room with views of river and promenade), access to a safe, nice decor, comfortable bed. Glad we stayed in Can Tho for 5 days. A treat.

Although we only stayed for one night the staff could not have made us more welcome. From check in (cold towels and drink plus complimentary cocktail) to check out (booking our bus tickets and arranging a pick-up) we felt really pampered. The hotel is well positioned for waterfront (quiet during day and mayhem at night) and the delicious local food market (only 2 blocks away). The hotel is not the newest but at this price with this level of service who cares!

Lovely historic hotel on the waterfront , great location for boat trips and a stroll to the night market. Our room was traditional & very clean. We were worried about the noise as there was a concert going on & we had to be up at 4am but it finished early so wasn't a problem. Nice cold face cloth & juice on arrival, and the complimentary cocktail in the rooftop was very nice.

We had a wonderful stay at Nam Bo Boutique Hotel. The staff are very friendly, very helpful. The rooms are comfortable with excellent internet and air conditioning. The location is excellent, right in front of the dock where boats can take you to the Cai Rang floating market or on an adventure into the Mekong delta.

Lovely generous breakfasts; very helpful organising trips and the journey to and from Ho Chi Minh City. Very personal service in a small friendly hotel.

I would have liked a little more explanation in our room about the restaurants on the three different floors. But hotels in Vietnam generally do not seem to provide much written information in guests’ rooms.
