Loved the pools, location on the beach, was happy with the quality of the food, loved the coffee and ice cream shop on the property. Beautiful beach! Most of the staff was friendly.

The hotel itself was very run down inside, lots of holes and cracking in the bathroom, and mold on the ceiling. The fire alarm also went off three separate times in the middle of the night which terrified my children. They where very late with checking us in, and could only say your room will be available at some point. We arrived promptly at check in time and could not get into our room for another hour and a half.

The location was perfect. Selections in food seemed to meet many dietary restrictions. Rooms were spacious.

The bartenders on the whole were very unhappy and unpleasant to be around. The attitudes were uncaring and seemed bored with their job. Undeniable the worst set I have ever been around.

The staff was amazing! The facilities were very clean and we got to see baby sea turtles hatch and make their way to the ocean!

We would have enjoyed a better selection of food and more available restaurants. We also would have liked for there to be snacks available 24/7 so you are able to access them while at the beach or pool.

Nearness to the town center and the airport.

The bathroom needs upkeep. Needs 2 shower doors to prevent the splashing of water when showering. I believe that many have been complaining or calling the property management’s attention about this. This splashing or overflowing of water goes or flow outside the bathroom, thus flooding the hallway or space ( walkway ) between bathroom and the closet. With this problem going on, noticed that the closet door is warping due to being soaked in water for most of the time during showering for so many years ….

Breakfast was delicious. Service was fantastic. Rooms were clean. Grounds were well kept.

The salt fish accra was a bit too oily and salty. Waitresses need to be more friendly. The ac in room 102 wasn't working properly and the bathroom was leaking.

The beauty of the beachfront and the softness of the white sand on the feet. Saltwater is healing to the body so being able to walk in the surf on the sand was relaxing and energizing. The locals/staff are welcoming, happy, caring and we loved talking with them. They know how to make their tourists feel at home.

Barbados is fairly pristine in the resorts however it is severely run down and neglected over much of the Island. Other than the highways, the roads are full of potholes, no shoulders and deep ditches await should you err or attempt to put distance between you and opposing traffic. Items are more expensive so budget accordingly.

The overall staff was wonderful and friendly. The option to the sister hotel was a plus their staff was very accommodaing also. The food was great. The entertainment was on point. The guys at the front was always so very helpful with getting our taxi as quickly as possible

The A la Carte food was slow and annoying. The front dest staff was not helpful at all. The service for dinner was poor if you arrived late and the staff seemed annoyed and moved extremely slow.

The staff where very friendly and helpful. The beach and ocean where lovely, only downside was extension of beach your could go for a walk on was only long enough for a 5-10 minute walk depending on your pace. Ice cream parlour had a slightly limited choice but kids loved it. Caffee had a good variety of coffee and tea. Staff would go around handing popsicles around the pool in the afternoon which was very nice.

Facilities and furniture are somewhat dated, in my opinion that doesn't really deter the overall experience

We liked the hotel's grounds: plenty of diverse pools, a lovely sandy beach, and numerous trees. Our kid received a very nice present from Santa. There's also a great ice cream shop.

When we arrived, we had to request the preparation of a bed for our kid as it was not ready. Additionally, we had to ask for a third towel and a third bottle of water. It is unacceptable when you've just arrived after a long journey, and the hotel is aware of the number of people. There was a queue for the dinner table, and at times, we had to wait for up to 30 minutes. The selection of vegetables and cheese was limited. About coming for Christmas, there was no special show—only romantic songs. It seemed more like a Valentine's Day celebration, and we did not enjoy it much as our kid expected more Christmas fun.

overall the hotel was absolutely fine and ticked all the necessary needs.

it is tired and in great need of a refurbishment. also the staff in general are great apart from those in the food service areas which are run very poorly and the more senior the staff the ruder and less helpful they were.
