Location, friendly staff, nice breakfast

We paid extra for a mini suite and the room was bigger than normal but the shower was impractical. Being 188cm tall, I could not stand under the eaves where the showerhead was located. Holding the showerhead wasn't easy while opening/squeezing the awful plastic sachets of gel. And finally, there's no screen or curtain at all, so the floor is soaked with a moment's inattention! Definitely overpriced

A pretty hotel in a quiet street (or at least, in relation to other reviews, quiet during my visit) opposite a rather splendid Medieval building and 2 minutes away from the main square. There’s a small terrace area. My room, with a little sofa area and a nice bathroom, was charming, with a mix of traditional and contemporary decoration, and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were welcoming and efficient – they were particularly helpful and accommodating when a potential train strike meant that I had to shorten my stay at the last minute.

There’s no lift to the top floor but the staff speedily took control of my luggage.

This was a great central location while traveling through Germany. It is off season and the hotel not full. Our host was very good and prepared a lovely breakfast for us. It is located central to the town and cute streets to walk through. While it isn’t a modern hotel, it was still a lovely stay

Breakfast member of staff was exceptional, she arranged earlier breakfast as we had a 7.30 train, great food selection too. Perfect hotel position right in the old town center.

The hotel is very nice, located in the city centre of one of the most beautiful German old towns, Hameln,. Parking is available. The hosts are very helpful and friendly, rooms are nice, and breakfast is very impressive, one of the best we have had in Germany. You feel at home and wish you could stay more days. Highly Recommended, we look forward to come back

Small, colourful and very friendly Italian-themed hotel in excellent location, and providing a generous breakfast.

Wash basin was a little odd. Could have done with instructions!

Everything was great.

Everything was just super - from the staff to breakfast, the room etc. The hotel is so tastefully decorated in Italian style. Everyone working there was helpfull very friendly and made us feel so welcome. We were travelling on motorbike with our dog, and when we arrived the receptionist immediately went out to show us where to park… the breakfast had all we needed and a bit more 😉… the hotel is right in the middle of the city near the river…

The personal was extremely helpful and nice.

They do not give you a second key for the room.
