Convenient position very close to the sea side, with a view of the sea from the balcony. Good rooms, very helpful and kind staff which is the best part of this hotel. There’s a cheap parking nearby. The only flaw is the bed is not super comfortable, the rest is very nice for a stay in busy cattolica in august

Beds were a bit hard

The only thing good about this accommodation is that it is clean.

But I had an uncomfortable experience with the staff of the hotel. Upon my arrival, hotel was closed. On the main doors of the hotel was written that I should contact the hotel that I have arrived by the provided telephone number. As I did that, an old couple opened the door for me. They work in tourism, but don't speak any language except Italian. I booked 3 nights for 1 person, but because my partner came, we were willing to pay extra so he could stay with me. Once he came several hours later, we payed them 20€ (no receipt, only cash). My boyfriend and I decided to go out for the evening, and we got stopped by the staff (still not sure what they do as they are not working on reception, and they are not the directors) and they asked us when are we coming back because they lock the door of the hotel during the day and night. Situation was pretty uncomfortable as this old woman and two men made the lobby seem as their own living room (half laying on the couch/seats, watching tv. Really unprofessional from the hotel staff). I was shocked as you don't usually get asked such absurd questions from the hotel staff, and as it is not common that doors from hotel get locked and the staff goes to sleep. They asked when is my boyfriend leaving in the morning, as it is their business. Day after, when he was leaving in the morning, he got stopped by the same staff that he must pay another 20€ if he will stay (as we weren't already aware???). He came back in the afternoon, nobody asked anything and we didn't ask for anybody as there was nobody at the reception (we entered the hotel by ringing the doorbell on the main doors and one of the men came from the “lobby-living room” and opened the doors for us and went back to watch the TV). In the evening, when we were again going out, we got stopped again (approx. Around 10 pm) by the staff.

The property was closed when we went . They took the reservation without the cancellation option. All the area was shut down because it was off season. They went a message prior to check in saying they where going to relocate us in another hotel (owned by them ) the Villa Enea. A horrible hotel.
