We had a truly wonderful stay at 1O1 Style Malioboro Yogyakarta. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warm smiles and an incredibly helpful attitude. Their outstanding service made all the difference – always ready to support, offer advice, or simply brighten our day with genuine kindness. The hotel itself felt like a calm oasis in the middle of the city – clean, modern, and very comfortable. But it was really the team that made our stay special. You can feel they truly care about their guests. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Yogyakarta and would happily return anytime.

I had a fantastic experience staying at 101 Style Malioboro during my vacation. From the moment I arrived, the service exceeded my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised when the hotel upgraded me to a Royal Suite, which made my stay even more memorable. The suite was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered a perfect blend of comfort and style. Everything was spotless, and the amenities provided were top-notch. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the relaxing ambiance of the room. The hotel’s location is excellent – right in the heart of Malioboro, making it easy to explore local attractions, shops, and eateries. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I highly recommend 101 Style Malioboro for anyone visiting Yogyakarta and looking for a mix of comfort, style, and warm hospitality

101 Style, September 2024, Solo Traveller Holiday. -General- The hotel size was good and comfortable, very easy to get in and out, and on the top floor a great pool to help hideaway from the busyness of Yogya with some great views. -Reception- The cafe / reception area was spacious and grand. Staff were incredibly helpful as always, and was warmly greeted with smiles, respect, and kindness. Lots of seating in the lobby and great decor. -Staff- the staff were absolutely fine. Very polite, quick and efficient. Supported with any simple requests (I only asked simple things), but overall, they were good. Most importantly, they treated me with a lot of kindness and respect, and always with a smile. -Room- Nice, big, spacious, an amazing floor to ceiling wall window with a nice view (got to see some nice fireworks one night). Very comfortable, AC, clean, and overall I was very happy with it. It was what I expected. A nice desk, bathroom was nice, lighting was great. Overall, it was a very nice room that I really enjoyed. -Breakfast- the breakfasts were plentiful and a nice range. A mix of veg, meat options and standard European breakfast options. It was all fresh, tasty and enjoyable. It had everything that I wanted. -Location- I liked the location. It was close to all the main things that I wanted to see with a short taxi ride in any direction. One thing I particularly enjoyed was my walks back to the hotel from wherever I was (no more than 30 mins), it would take me through some great alleyways and streets, which really made me integrated with Yogya. -Summary- would I return / recommend? Yes. The place is in a good location, but you will have to get short taxis everywhere and the hotel itself was really nice. The pool at the top was really nice and it had some great views.

Comfy, spacious room. Super attentive staff. It was my birthday and they had a special surprise for me where they brought cake up to my room which was so thoughtful! They all sang happy birthday too and I even got to blow a candle! Breakfast was decent too. A few options to choose from including cooked eggs.

The gym is on the small side and the weights are pretty light so my partner found he couldn’t really do his usual work out. Not a major issue for us, but there is no bar on the premises. Loads of nice spots in Yogyakarta though and it’s very easy to get a Grab and explore.

In hotel industry hospitality distinguishes the good from the great, the inexpert from the professional. Checked in to 101 Style Malioboro and immediately impressed with the warm welcome, speed of checking in, modern design, nice room, comfy bed, fluffy pillows, and good bfast spread. Had a bit of technical glitches in the day that follows. The technician tried their best to rectify, profusely apologized for the minor problem. The receptions too tried their best to find me another available room. With the help of Bu Titta, the Manager on Duty, they (Bu Titta and her team) came up with workable alternative solutions. Bu Titta waited beyond her working shift hours to ensure everything settled well. Our gratitude to the team. Please pass along my appreciation to Bu Titta, the technician, and receptionist teams as they have demonstrated sincere hospitality. They showed resilient at times of diversity. The hospitality makes us feel we were well taken care of. I would look for 101 Style accommodations the next time I am in Indonesia.

Staff is excellent. Accommodated requests for laundry or minor leak repair quickly and efficiently. Elevators are fast. Beds are comfortable! (Though the bathrobes must be for 45kg Asian women. Not 95 kg Americans!) View of mountain nice but too foggy the 3 days we were there.

Became a bit bored with breakfast. Coffee needs to be improved. Tried espresso, Americano, brewed, latte. None were good in my opinion (maybe sugar or milk would have covered it up; but I don’t use those.) more fresh fruit would be nice too.

This hotel is in a good location, within 8 minutes of a Grab ride to the main (and loud) Malioboro area . It's in a quieter area with some cafes and local eateries around which you have to wander around the quaint gangs to find. Staff speak.good English and are always eager to please. The room is good sized and very comfortable. Breakfast buffet has a good selection but I'd prefer the food to be piping hot so maybe go slightly later for the burners to get into full swing. Otherwise I'd give it top marks!

We were very impressed by the modern style of the hotel and quality of the furniture and fittings in our room. Very luxurious. The hotel is in a good location, away from the very busy centre of Yogyakarta. The reception staff organised taxis for us. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was both good value and high quality. The views from our room and the rooftop swimming pool were amazing, especially at night. All of the staff and the manager were very helpful and obliging, and we felt very welcome.

Brand new. Super facilities. Very good breakfast with excellent freshly ground coffee. Great views of Merapi on a clear day. Rooftop pool looked great.

Location is a little out from the main area. Staff were overly attentive (it became rather annoying, though not their intention). Hence it felt like you were required to play your role in their performance, rather than being able to relax and have your personal space. The gym was pretty feeble and not worth using, but maybe it’s a temporary solution whilst other equipment is being delivered. WiFi was rather poor and prevented me from getting work done.

Hotel is new. Comfortable rooms, beds and bathroom. Daily fresh towels and fresh bed linnen on request. Large selection of food at breakfast. I turned 52 and was surprised with a nice birthday cake, complemented with a singing staff, very attentive. 15min walk to Jl. Malioboro. Nice rooftop pool to enjoy few hours of sun in the afternoon. Good value for money, would stay again.

Dinner selection is limited and quality can be improved. Wifi not always stable, in particular in the evening. Gym facility offers few equipment.
