Location is great for us as my grandchildren are 5 minutes down the street. We decided to do a last minute trip to Washington DC with family. We planned on staying only 1 night but ended up staying 2 nights. What made our final decision to stay at Fairfield the 2nd night was solely due to how friendly and accommodating the front desk clerk Emma was. She is an asset to your business! Emma went above and beyond to make our stay both nights a very good experience. She provided us with information we were not aware of when we take our next trip to DC. Our original room assigned to us gave me a severe allergy attack. Emma reassigned us another room and continuously checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable in our new room. I cannot express how friendly she was and again how she is an asset to your business! Thank you Emma for everything and for being so kind! Breakfast was good however, small selection. Eating & food area was kept very clean.

Rooms are dark therefore we did not notice until morning of our 2nd night stay how dirty the comforter was on our bed! It was black along the seaming and entire comforter was very dingy. Grossed me out when I saw what I slept on to be honest. The rest of the room was very clean along with the entire facility.

We have stayed in a lot of hotels over the past 10 years due to sports schedules with our children, and this was one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in! We loved the size of the room, the large bathroom, the cute shade that came down, the breakfast and the hospitality from all of the workers there

If I had to actually pick one thing that went wrong during our stay, it would have to be that there wasn’t enough conditioner in the bottle for my hair! Haaaaa

The facility was conveniently located, clean, and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I the billing practices were very confusing. At time of check-in, they processed a credit card hold for the amount of my rate as booked through Booking.com $545.44 plus $20 per day reserved for incidentals from their small snack store at the front desk, total of $610. At time of checkout they charged another total hold of $570. When I called, they couldn’t really explain why there were two charges, and I had a credit for the incidentals should be processed. It took several days for the correct charge of $545.44 to actually process on my account. The original hold of $670 is still on my account. Their practice of automatically putting a hold for additional incidentals just for their tiny snack bar is unnecessary and I would not stay there again because of that.

Location was excellent for our trip to the Ripken Fields for the baseball tournament, hotel is close to several amenities, but tucked away as to have a relatively quiet setting. We were able to walk to several dining establishments, and enjoyed the cuisine at each one. We had planned to walk to the fields, but the drizzling rain persuaded us to drive the one and one-half miles.

The bed and pillows were too soft, which meant I did not sleep well and woke with a sore back. I'm sure many people really enjoy the "plush" feel, but personally would have preferred a more firm mattress. Scrambled eggs cooled rather quickly, might find a way to keep them warmer in the dish. Bacon was either a processed meat that crumbled easily or extremely overcooked, but not burnt. There was a very nice selection/variety for any appetite, which was great, although no bananas, a staple for breakfast.

The room and especially the bathroom were modern and nice. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good and there was decent variety of food. Central location made it easy to find places to eat.

There was a bobby pin on the floor that didn’t belong to us and at one point I had a flea jump on me when I was sitting on the floor. We also had a first floor room which wasn't what we expected but it was okay. I feel like it was a little overpriced.

Very clean, pleasant staff and conveniently located off I-95. Upon check in, Booking.com messed up my name and the reservation couldn’t be retrieved. The front desk assistant persevered and resolved the issue.

Everything was great.

Very clean. Staff very nice friendly helpful and accommodating. Spacious king room with microwave, refrigerator and keuric coffee maker, large shower, very large wall TV, comfortable bed. Nice breakfast area !! Nice lobby aeea! Didn't see or use fitness area so can't comment on that. Convenient to Havre de Grace.

Husband liked the pillows but they were a little soft for me. I could have asked for additional ones and they would have been able to accommodate. So not really an issue

The hotel was clean and the staff was pleasant. The location was perfect for what we needed. We needed to extend our stay an extra night and the staff was very accommodating to this need.

I hardly spent much time there. Breakfast was OK - Nothing special. Room was OK - clean when we arrived, but hotel did not have maid service.

VERY expensive for room, amenities, NO MAID SERVICE, MEDIOCRE breakfast

I like that the front desk a combated us to move to a better room because our first room was unacceptable… we think someone was sleeping in the room that worked there
