The room was very large and comfortable. The kitchenette was well equipped. It had a nice balcony which we enjoyed when eating our meals. Although facing the road the room was very quiet when the doors were closed. The pool and spa are fabulous- remember to pack your own beach towel. The parking is downstairs and undercover which was great. There are lifts from it, so moving your luggage is no problem. The room contained a full laundry too.

The location is a bit far from the shops and you will need a car to get around the area. The TV promoted being able to Chromecast apps and had Foxtel but neither of these were true. It wasn't even a Smart TV.

We liked the type of facility it provided. The rooms were very good and had everything we could have wanted in the kitchenette. The outdoor pool and recreation area was beautiful.

We noticed how much maintenance is required to repair the pool, which is beautiful to swim in but showing it’s age. There was a pump sound cutting in and out during the night - probably unique to the apartment we stayed in as there was no-one else staying close. These comments are all maintenance issues and this did not stop our enjoyment of the facility as a whole.

A common problem seen at most hotels etc that advertise Foxtel sport etc, but like most it does not, offering only local free to air channels and through a cheap 32" screen with absolute crap sound. Advertised casting feature did not work, no surprise as most hotels still insist on using micro-crap 2nd rate casting systems that as we all know is crap and unreliable. Even with the famous shift, alt, delete to reboot the crappy system, or turning off at the wall for 24hours, still did not work, so we watched TV on our MacBook Air that worked a treat.

The pools looked like they would be excellent but the weather was cold and none of the pool was heated. The hot spa on the individual patio was a good fall back in the cold weather and had good privacy. Beds were comfortable and by booking 2 rooms we were able to get the beds combination we needed for 3 adults + 2 children. Staff were all lovely. Having a lift also was a big plus.

Not their fault really but the cold weather meant we couldn’t take advantage of the pools that were a big part of why we booked for the kids. At least some part heated in winter would have been better. Also restaurant was too pricey for the whole family so a cheaper food option would have been good. The spa with the double room was great BUT the amount of water on the floor was dangerous and we had to put all the towels on the tiles to avoid slipping. Some kind of slip-proof matting would be a good safety feature near the spa and/or water should be able to drain somehow.

We love the setting. It was our second stay; the first being about 8 years ago when the property was relatively new. The rooms which provide direct pool access are lovely and very private; and we made good use of being able to pop into the pool so easily. We stayed for 5 nights, so having a washing machine and dryer was very handy too. The pool setting is really nice. We have enjoyed lovely meals from the restaurant on both stays.

Everything was great; apart from the fact that we'd booked a one bedroom apartment rather than a studio as my husband is such an early riser. However the big sliding plantation shutter door from the living room to the bedroom was missing, so although the apartment was very spacious, we would have preferred to have the two spaces separated. We spoke with the staff who were very helpful; and although there wasn't another similar room we could be moved to they very kindly gave a dining credit which we used. The meals was delicious!

Under cover parking, well appointed room and comfortable bed, great pool area very resort style, easy walk to the beach, great restaurant for dinner and breakfast, reception has items to buy for food and drinks, clean,very helpful staff. Great spot.

Quiet a small room, no lounge setting. Need signage to restaurant, more information is needed in the room for the restaurant hours and menu. For longer stays it is only a bar fridge.

only had 1/2 roll of toilet paper and no milk. The cornices in room needs to be cleaned there were cobwebs right around whole apartment inside with bugs in them. Hair needs to be cleaned out of drains in bathroom also. When we went to leave there was a sign on car windscreen STAFF ONLY. There was barely a car in the car park and at no stage was there any signs to indicate there was a staff only park. There was another customers car parked there day before.We were told when we arrived to park anywhere . Needs more kitchen crockery and cutlery. Don’t need a dishwasher when there is only 2 of everything.

Room could do with some maintenance eg : screen between bedroom & lounge has been removed, but still floor strip there which can be a tripping hazard. Room could do with a fresh paint job, water hammer on taps.

Pool looked lovely although we didn't use it. Room was also lovely although the lounge was too smooth and you kept sliding on it.

Dinner...... dinner was not so good, my husband and I had the chicken and vegies. Parts of the chicken were warm and parts were cold, the same for the vegies. It was like a microwave dinner. My son had the steak, he asked for it to be rare, it came out Blue. He asked for it to be cooked again and it came back out very nice. We decided to give the restaurant another chance for breakfast. We were the first ones there, everything looked nice but, majority of it was only just lukewarm, the only thing that was hot was the mushrooms!

Quiet 1 bedroom apartment which had a kitchen that was well equipped if you want to prepare a meal in the room. Comfortable bed and very clean room. The resort style pool with kids area was fantastic for our little one. Fantastic drinks by the pool and very relaxed atmosphere.

The whole resort needs some TLC and maintenance. The kids area in the pool is fantastic however the pool itself looks tired as it needs to be painted. The billboard signs driving into 1770 are obviously very old as the resort didn’t look how it appeared on the signs. The billboards set a picture of very high expectations. We did make reception aware of people smoking outside our room however they were swift to rectify this issue.
