Location was ok, sad it was next to noisy backpackers

Could have had a brighter light in the main room. One bright and one yellow. Not a good combination. Didn't like the cockroach that crawled onto my wife in the middle of the night. Probably disturbed by the renovation happening under us which we didn't mind, has to happen and we were happy with that.

Great location, clean rooms, good value, close to beach. Friendly managers.

There was a group of ladies staying in the rooms next to us. They outside talking loudly at night which kept us awake, and before 7.30 in the morning, which woke us. They had no consideration of their noise levels on other guests. Maybe the motel could consider having ‘quiet hours’ like a lot of places have.

The property is very clean, comfortable and basic. It is a 200 m walk (via a swamp) to a very nice beach which has flags. There is a coffee van directly outside from 6.30 am (they are very slow but good). Walking distance to shops and a 5 km drive/walking track to 1770 beaches. The rooms are very clean, and comfortable, well equipped for 1-2 people (cutlery, kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave). Beds reasonably comfortable.

A kitchen tap for drinking water, laundry facilities.

Glenda is lovely - very nice welcome and helped explain the surrounds etc etc Mark and Sandy’s Mexican attached to the YHA nearby is excellent - we only stayed two days but we won’t forget this inimitable trio - all experienced travellers too and it felt like family in a very short time ..

slight noise from YHA kitchen late on the Friday night but Glenda was quick to stop that

It was super close to everything and the perfect size for a two night stay the bed was super comfy and a lovely and clean

It was hard to wash the dishes in the back room sink as well as only have two super blunt butter knife’s it was really hard to cut up stuff for dinner especially cheese and tomato’s with a butter knife

The property itself was as you'd expect, clean, tidy and comfy.

A mistake was made, and we were charged for our room which we had already paid for, in fact we were charged more than the rate we had paid originally. This was brought to the attention of the owner who could not refund us our card payment and asked for our bank details to do instead these were provided. Several days later we checked our bank nothing had been refunded, so we had to take up the matter with Booking.com who handled the situation for us and promised us a full refund which hopefully we will get in a few days time.

perfect location, clean and tidy

As a solo traveller, I am very security conscious and felt that there needed to be a security chain on the door…

The property was actually BETTER than the photos. The current photos are a little dated. But the actual rooms look nicer. The room had above average facilities including toaster, microwave, mini fridge, dish washing tub and accessories. More than I was expecting. Staff at reception were great! Extremely helpful!

Good option where to stay on our way to Arlie Beach. We stopped here for 2-day stay. There is perfect coffee shop next to the motel with exceptional coffee :-) Rooms were spacy and clean. Also there is small pool you can use and beach is not far too.

The motel is just next to the road (which actually doesnt matter when you are just passing)

The place was good

I had to cancel the last night. I spoke to the manager the night before and I was told I can't be reimbursed for the last night because they need 48 hrs. 48hrs notice is ridiculous. I then asked if I can at least get a credit for another stay. And I was rejected this as well.
