We had a very nice 5 night stay in this lovely remote place! The staff were very kind and already knew our routine for breakfast towards the end of our stay. The cleaning was provided daily with an exceptional quality of personal touch, which was much appreciated by us. The room was cozy and of sufficient size for our stay. Location was nice, we could go to the large region from our accommodation within 1 hour drive for many different attractions - hence a good base for travelling around.

Just want to warn that place is quite remote and there is definitely not an easy turn to the road leading to the place from the main road (low suspension cars may struggle). With respect to the room, the one aspect is our window was directly overlooking the water stream which was loud all night... so for some without the earplugs it might be a challenge (to sleep with an open window).

Lovely rural location with stunning views although a very steep unmade up track to get there. Excellent breakfast. Some distance to find dinner. We found Osteria San Maurizio in Ivea which was superb. The owner/chef worked for big names in London for 23 years. He and his wife were charming and the food exceptional. Would highly recommend.

Our room could have done with air con. A fan was not sufficient. Unfortunately the swimming pool was green but I did still swim. Needed treating.

We stayed for a week and used the B&B as a base to see lots of sites in in the local area (including Gran Paradiso National Park, Lake Orta and Turin). Breakfast every day was absolutely amazing with fresh baked croissants, cakes, fresh fruit, made-to-order eggs and bacon and much more! The bed was super comfortable. The swimming pool is an infinity pool with beautiful views over the valley. The staff were all so helpful and kind. We are looking forward to coming back!

Maybe a shared mini- fridge for guests to use, but that is a very minor comment.

The location was great! The directions sent by the hotel were accurate (and needed) It is a charming little place that is a bit remote but has fantastic views! The room was perfect and well equipped. The breakfast is served with attention, but it was empty when we arrived (see other remarks) The road to the hotel is an adventure, I loved it, but I can see why others thought it was a bit rough

When we arrived we were the only guest, after 23:00 a large group of men arrived due to issues with the tunnel, they were very loud. Due to the absence of hotel staff in the building, I had to ask them several times to tune it down a bit. The next morning, the same group emptied the breakfast, initially we were told there was no more bread and croissants. The owner then ensured we got a complete breakfast anyway. I am aware this is not an issue of the hotel itself, but it did influence our experience.

The Suite room was pretty large and well furnished with comfy beds. The view from the room and sitting area was fabulous. Staff was pretty helpful.

The approach road to the hotel is very poor and not lit. Hotel can put up some signages for better guidance at night. The property is mainly accessable via car. Reception was closed when we reached in the night.

I was very surprised with the exceptional quality of the property, location and very attentive staff. I did struggle to locate the property and thought I’d made a wrong turning at first. The property is secluded, very private. My room was lovely (I did saw wow when I walked in) very clean, lovely furnishings. Very comfortable bed. I didn’t use the pool but it’s available for guests. Breakfast was lovely on the terrace, very attentive staff with home grown strawberries on the menu!

We loved everything about this fabulous accommodation, fantastic breakfast with a huge choice, great staff, beautiful outlook, very quiet, 5 minutes to the town of Quagliuzzo & close to the city of Ivrea

There was nothing we did not like

Beautiful loft-style room with beautiful view, amazing breakfast included (we were offered buffet with granola, fruits, cheese etc + eggs on demand). Entry looks a bit steep for the car, but we managed :) There is a restaurant with pizza in just 5 minute drive.

Ca Montiglio is in an idyllic location with lovely hillside view and sweet gardens. The running water outside our windows just added the the peaceful ambience. Furnishings were tasteful and rooms were good sized. Morning breakfast was more than enough with freshly baked/warmed croissants.

There wasn’t much to dislike. Google maps didn’t have the location correct, but a generous townsperson pointed us in the correct direction. The road leading to the house is unpaved and would be difficult to drive if one had a very low car. No A/C, but the fans and open windows were enough during the unusual heat wave.

mesmerizing location, great classical Italian breakfast with amazing focaccia and selection of cheeses. location is remote enough for peace and quiet yet close to Ivrea and other smaller towns to go for a great meal, wines, hikes etc. definitely a must and 100% recommended. spent a nice long weekend with my girlfriend and our dog. will return and keep returning
