Kreative and decorative setting, comfy bed, good pillows. nice details around the house. located close to the beach. lovely choices for breakfast jam and honeys. coffee good. staff friendly.

Breakfast setting was not super clean. a lot of bread and cakes to choose from. unfortunate for everybody who has to to cut out gluten. the reception was informed, they recommended to bring my own bread/muesli. In my room at check in, the restaurant in-house was recommended. same as when i booked. but when checked in, they informed that the restaurant was closed for the evening. lucky for me, i found a good place in town on my own.

What a joy it was to stay at this beachside institution! Fabulous staff who were helpful yet unobtrusive. Reda and Jade were particularly friendly. The hotel had a quirky and unique interior mixing retro pop and colourful crustaceans with an old school, art deco glamour. The food was exceptional and the rooms comfortable and well equipped. Totally charmed by this place with its careful attention to detail, relaxed vibe and high quality service. We visited in early May when there were few people and the streets and beach were quiet. Nothing we didn’t like, parking might be tight in the high season but we had no issues.

It was a pity that the restaurant was not open on the Tuesday night - it opens from Wednesday although the very helpful staff told us where we could (and did) get a good meal (as well as the best views of the sunset)

We enjoyed our chalet with the little garden, which was tastefully decorated in a retro style with everything we needed, even a comfy dog bed and treats for our dog.

There was nothing we didn't like about.

A fabulous hotel with lovely rooms. Parking was easy and the whole team of staff provided consistently excellent customer service. Food was of a high standard and the setting was ideal for a break by the sea.

I dont think you should charge for the use of the bicycles. You should use a refundable deposit. The breakfast is too expensive

Great recreated 60s-70s atmosphere and brilliant redecoration of what seems to have been an institution in Le Pyla-sur-Mer ! Spacious affordable rooms with terrace and see view. Just cross the road (quiet in the down season) and you’re on the beach. Just rent one of their bikes and you can easily reach all places around worth seeing (La Dune, Arcachon, le Cap Ferret with the boat accepting them, etc…) A nice play to stay with cordial service.

Forget about the internet. No Wifi for three days. Unable to join their network. So, heavy roaming costs to add for foreigners. Bar is nice with its cosy and stylish red alcove, but the restaurant doesn’t match the standard of the region.
