Nice space, pretty garden and entrance. You get a warm welcome with a nice drink and a refreshment towel. Bed is good, there’s a working airco and ventilator. Shower is pretty warm, not the hottest but it’s nice and pressure is well. Wifi works great. It’s from a couple and they are really nice and warm, welcoming.

If I really have to say something, it will be that the owner talks and repeats a lot. If you’re very tired after a long journey it can be quite intense.

Our host, Dulshan, and his wife, Dilu, were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home in Sri Lanka from the very beginning. The accommodation had everything we needed, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Additionally, Dulshan arranged a Tuktuk driver for us who not only took us into town but also shared his personal restaurant recommendations – all at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend staying here!😊

As my first stop in Sri Lanka, Dulshan made me feel right at home and organised for an airport transfer for me as I was flying in late at night. He even stayed up to welcome me to the guesthouse at midnight. The breakfast was outstanding and the perfect introduction to Sri Lankan food. The room was super comfortable and the balcony looked like it would have been the perfect place to relax if it hadn’t been raining during my stay. I highly recommend Villa Dominikku if you are staying in Negombo or looking for somewhere not too far from the airport.

We stayed one night at Villa Dominikku and had a pleasant experience overall. The location is convenient, and the staff were very attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Dulshan was especially helpful, taking the time to carefully explain everything to us. Breakfast was excellent and a highlight of our stay. The garden is beautiful.

It’s worth noting that the villa is part of a home, so it might not be ideal if you’re looking for complete privacy. While the attentiveness of the staff is commendable, we did feel at times that a bit more space would have made the experience more relaxing. That said, we still enjoyed our stay and appreciated the effort to make us comfortable.

Dulshan and Dilu are super kind, warm and welcoming and truly give a sense of home away. The villa is spotless and comfortable and they make sure you have everything you need. Dulshan recommended a place for dinner and took care of my airport transfer. when I had to leave early for the airport they woke up early to make me coffee and Dilu added a special touch with a homemade pancake ( as I was leaving before breakfast). One of the best places I stayed in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect!

Beautiful and immaculate villa. The hosts are so lovely and welcoming, we sadly on stayed a few hours before a late flight out so didn’t get to enjoy the comfort and hospitality of this villa and its hosts. Very well appointed room, perfectly clean and comfortable, the garden and common areas are lovely. The villa is in a great location for exploring Negombo and getting to the airport, only about 20 mins away. They organised a great driver to take us to the airport for a reasonable price. Highly recommend this villa for your stay in Negombo! We will definitely stay here for longer on our next trip to Sri Lanka.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa in Colombo. From the moment we arrived, the hosts, Dilu and Dulshan, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The villa is absolutely spotless—everything was incredibly clean and well-maintained. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, freshly prepared, and a great way to start the day. The service overall was top-notch; attentive, friendly, and always with a smile. You can tell they truly care about their guests. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and beautifully run place to stay in Colombo.

We had such a wonderful stay at this villa- it was the perfect start to our trip in Sri Lanka! The location is ideal, just a short drive from the airport, which made it super convenient after a long flight. The owner Dulshan was absolutely lovely- so welcoming and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, even helping us arrange a reliable driver to our next destination. His wife made us a delicious homemade breakfast in the morning. The villa itself is clean, peaceful, and well-kept- great for a restful night before heading off on your adventure. We have booked this accommodation for our last night in Sri Lanka as well. Would definitely recommend!

The Villa Dominikku is exceptional, without doubt the best room we stayed in during our tour of Sri Lanka using homestay accommodation. Dulshan and Dilu are perfect hosts. Dilu's breakfast was amazing, so plentiful and tasty and Dulshan's care and attention to us and his sightseeing recommendations made it easy to see the best of what Negombo had to offer. With the villa being some way from the beachfront, Dulshan arranged a Tuk-tuk and the lovely driver 'Chummy' took us everywhere we needed to go during our stay and collected us after a quick message back to Dulshan. A perfect end to our holiday.

The best hotel I stayed at in Sri Lanka! - fantastic hospitality with friendly and accommodating owners - easily arranged transport from the airport and into the city - massive, delicious breakfast with western and Sri Lankan options - the quietest hotel I stayed at in Sri Lanka. It is tucked down a side street and so there is no traffic noise, roosters etc. While the owners live downstairs, they are very quiet! - hot (enclosed!) shower so the water doesn’t get everywhere - good wifi, especially for Sri Lanka - Beautiful grounds and home So much attention to detail that I haven’t seen at other hotels in Sri Lanka!
