🛏️ The room was very clean and tidy – spotless and well-arranged! 🏊‍♂️ The pool was crystal clear 💧 and very well maintained – perfect for a refreshing dip! 🍽️ In the evening, we enjoyed a lovely snack with ginger tea ☕ – simply amazing! 😍 🍳 Next morning's breakfast was delightful: String hoppers 🍜 Omelets 🍳 Delicious curries 🍛 Tea ☕ Soft and tasty pain roll 🥐 🤝 The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. 💁‍♂️ The receptionist was especially kind and welcoming – made us feel at home!

🦟 Only thing we noticed was some mosquitoes during the day( public areas, not in rooms ) – but that’s common around Negombo area. Not the property’s fault! Staff were proactive: they lit mosquito coils and did their best to manage it 🙌. 💡 Maybe adding electric mosquito vaporizers in the restaurant area would be a nice idea for the future. 🚿 Also, in Room 109, the shower pressure was quite low – hope it gets fixed soon! And also no TV. ✅ Overall: a great experience, felt relaxed and well taken care of. Would definitely visit again! 🌴✨

After the whole month of travelling in Sri Lanka, this is the best experience of booking.com we have had. Price & quality have very good ratio.. Welcome drink at our arrival, service of bringing our heavy luggage in the room, very generous breakfast in the morning, gorgeous view of the garden with swimming pool available and panorama discovering the sea, correct room service, always the smile and availability of the present staff... Great compliments to the young manager Dylan and staff member Mr. Sunil.. Even the owner of the hotel came to carry of us in the early morning... Staff was very friendly, helpful, and kind For a cheap place here is really worth it. With sufficient and fitting facilities. Me and my partner enjoyed a delicious breakfast made by the staff. Around the hotel you can go out to enjoy the sunset, because it is very close to the beach. All perfect

Nothing,they just need to do a little renovation to make the place look like a hotel. for example the cleanliness of the front. at first i was a little confused because i thought it wasn't a hotel

I really enjoyed my stay in Star White. Staff was so genuinely kind and nice to me. A got a welcome drink and they provided free water/tea/coffee/milk for me. I had amazing Sri Lankan breakfast every day with lots of fruit, curry and hoppers. Swimming pool area was cosy and clean. It’s in a nice area of town with many restaurants and shops around, and very close to the beach. Would definitely stay there again if I come back to Negombo.

The bed is super comfortable and the view from the room was really beautiful! The owner made us breakfast every morning and is super sweet! It is a few minutes away from the touristy area but you can easily walk there and we actually really enjoyed not staying in the main tourist area since it felt way more authentic. It also is close to the beach and good restaurants are also within walking distance! Definitely a great value for your money. :)

The shower pressure was really low but not a problem.

The pool was a fantastic way to start each day! Always clean and not heavily chlorinated. Dylan, who is the young man at the front desk was exceptional. Always smiling and helpful. The breakfast was also top notch.

The staff were my favourite! Very helpful, kind and great with my kid!

The mosquitos were pretty bad in the lounge area and often went inside the rooms when doors open.

Sonny was really accomadating and helped in anyway he could even specific requests for our breakfast and offered us coffee all the time, the pool was a really nice way to relax and cool down after getting out of the 32° heat. Our room had a fridge lots of plug sockets a comfortable bed. It's in a good location being between the lagoon and the waterfront

The main issue we faced in our room which is an easy fix was the bathroom window and balcony door frame had gaps around the frame which if unblocked allowed mosquitos in, we realised this after the first night and stuffed the curtain into it and blocked all the gaps. Problem was solved. Also the sink tap wasn't working but the shower was this also had a tap under the shower so wasn't too much of an issue.
