had an amazing experience staying at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely cared for — always attentive and going out of their way to meet our needs. I want to give special thanks to Sunil Fernando, the executive chef, and his entire team. He personally adapted our full-board menu to fit our dietary requirements and created a wide variety of delicious dishes throughout our stay. You can really feel the attention to detail and passion in the food. Also, a big thank you to Fernando, the driver and guide — a truly kind and trustworthy person. He helped us with everything we needed in town and took us on an amazing full-day trip. Safe driver, good energy — highly recommend him. Chandimal, the housekeeping staff member who took care of our room, always surprised us with beautiful decorations and was incredibly helpful every day. His attention made us feel really looked after. The hotel itself is stunning — the infinity pool has an incredible view, and we stayed in the Ocean Room with a jacuzzi on the balcony, which was a true lifesaver after long days of travel. Overall, I felt relaxed, well taken care of, and almost like being part of a family. Extremely grateful for the experience — highly recommend this place.

The hotel is in a beautiful location. Our room was facing the sea with stunning views. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. AC throughout the building made the stay very comfortable. The breakfast had great variety of fruits and dietary requirements. I am vegan, my partner is not but there was good selection for both of us. The sky lounge bar is just that a picturesque bar high up overlooking the beach and sea. Oh and a infinity pool with clean facilities, so cool. A lovely spot to relax with drinks. Our favourite like about the property was the staff. They was all very welcoming, kind and accommodating. Kushan, Dominic, Tharushi, Pasida and Dineth were great hosts. The staff were super friendly staff and very accommodating and always served with a smile. They were great with the kids .They gave us and extra bed ( at smalll additional cost), The hotel was clean and has a good location by the beach and near shops. Stunning views from from the roof.

I think this hotel is aimed at young singles and couples as it has very party like atmosphere particularly at night. There is club/bar on the roof which played loud music late into the early hours of the morning. Although I requested a room away from music and they gave me a room on the 3rd floor. Even then we could hear it over the AC . It didn't bother us room much as we had pretty exhausting days and fell asleep easily and it wasn't too loud where we were, I can imagine it would be a issue for rooms on the higer floors of people want to sleep. The breakfast was good but other meal options were a bit limited especially for kids but there is loads of places on Uber eats which we used to get food

It was a lovely hotel with friendly and attentive staff.

While the sea view is undeniably beautiful and the rooftop infinity pool is a lovely touch, my overall experience at the hotel was unfortunately spoiled by excessive charges. A 30% service charge was added to everything — food, drinks, which made dining at the hotel unreasonably expensive compared to other nearby restaurants that did not impose such a steep markup. The sea-view rooms, although offering a nice outlook, the balcony is so narrow. Additionally, while the rooftop pool was a highlight, the limited number of sun beds and the lack of spacing between them meant very little privacy or comfort. A shame, as the setting had such potential.

The welcoming on arrival was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was very good and complete served by nice and courteous staff.

The room balcony was opening to the balcony of a neighbor’s house at two meters distance which made our balcony not usable by lack of privacy. On my last day, I requested twice by phone to the reception à fresh bath towel which was never delivered. Upon checkout the reception staff was a bit cold…

We had an exceptional stay at Régal Reseau Hotel and Spa. From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of outstanding. We stayed in a suite with a breathtaking view, and the jacuzzi was truly next level, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. The food was absolutely excellent, offering a great variety of flavors at a very reasonable price. Dominic at the restaurant provided outstanding service, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. A special touch was the breakfast box they packed for us since we had an early flight—such thoughtful service! The hotel’s proximity to the airport made our travel plans seamless, and given the quality of the stay, it offers excellent value for money. Whether for business or leisure, I highly recommend Regal Réseau Hotel for a comfortable and memorable stay.

We liked everything.

Comfortable big bed with two types of pillows. Well working air conditioning (which we later found out is not a given in all hotels here). Great pool on the roof with sea view. Outdoor shower in front of the hotel so you can wash your feet from the sand from the beach. Pretty good food in the restaurant (but at a high price). As in all the hotels in Sri Lanka where we stayed - the staff was very nice and helpful. Almost no insects in the room.

One thing to keep in mind - all the pictures of accommodation in Sri Lanka are much nicer than what the accommodation looks like in reality. We stayed in 8 hotels and this was true for every one of them. Breakfast was poor for a 4* hotel. The water in the pool was colder (which some will appreciate).

Upgraded to a Junior suite as original room had a poor view of a building site. All staff encountered were friendly, helpful and efficient. Decent location by beach and numerous restaurants. Good breakfast.

Very limited Sun beds with hardly any shade in baking hot Sun. 2 Sun beds in the shade were selfishly taken by people who never used them in over an hour we were there, instead leaving their towels and bags there. I complained and a hotel policy for this should be put in place. A/C leaked and flooded small area of room. On separate days, clean towels were not provided and toilet roll not replenished when very obvious. We were on the 3rd floor and can still hear the music until 2am.

Very nice hotel, close to the airport. Room was big and comfortable, but missed some basic items, like slippers and bathrobes (since they had a wonderful pool). Rooftop pool was a great feature, after a long traveling day. It was perfect with the amazing sunset and beach view. Bar had what one needs: Cold beer and affordable finger food. If you don't want to eat at the hotel, there are nice and affordable places at walking distance. Beach looked nice, but we never had a chance to visit. The best part was the staff. Two night receptionists went above and beyond to find us the early morning cab for the transfer to the airport, since we had problems booking it on our own.
