We were greeted by really friendly and approachable staff who were happy to help us during our stay. The room was in good condition, with great air conditioning, a hot water shower and complimentary drinks. We really enjoyed spending time on the rooftop terrace with the pool with a sunset beer and great panoramic views towards the beach and around the town. On both mornings we ate a delicious breakfast which consisted of bread, coconut sambol, potato curry and lime juice. Excellent value for money and wonderful service, we recommend :)

Booked the suite as it looked like a fun and quirky place to stay If that’s what you’re after! Loved the rooftop pool where we enjoyed the stunning sunset. The concierge was lovely, service is attentive, drink and fruit on arrival was a nice touch. We didn’t realised breakfast was included so we missed out, but based off the other reviews of breakfast I’m sure it would have been nice (Make sure you ask about it on arrival). Strong air con, okay wifi.

The power kept cutting out when turning on the kettle, but it was fixed quickly. Not a lot of towels or shower gel offered. You can tell the place would have been great in it’s prime, however it does need a touch up of maintenance overall on most things.

The place is just infront of beach

The room was not clean, and insects were everywhere. Good for a quick or urgent crash.

Negombo is beautiful and after finding a different hotel just a couple buildings down we managed to enjoy a beautiful couple of days. So what did I like?.... The lift worked... The bed wasnt uncomfortable (not saying it was up to any standard)... and in their defense, the staff was quite pleasant and helpful (until you ask for a refund)

Oh where to start. The pictures on the website are 10 years old. (You can check on google images) The rooms now look beaten down and horrid. The furniture is damaged, The lighting doesnt work (not sure it ever did) There is a moist scent everywhere. Power outlets are bust and the AC is more of a decoration than anything. Cleanliness doesnt seem to be a factor, the bathroom was irreviewable. The staff is nice, until you ask for a refund. The stairways look awful, its all a cramped and horrible mess. They ruined the first couple hours of my trip, luckily i was able to get a better option down the road and after a bit of back and forth and help from a local friend, they refunded me aswell.
