Situated directly at the beach you have a very relaxing view, the beach is clean, the staff very friendly and the Interieur extraordinary. We had a huge superior room which was pure luxury. Place for honeymooners and for us a perfect place to relax at the end of vacation and to work via Zoom as the WiFi is very good.

IT could be an extraordinary hotel if there would have been invested in moscito nets. There were thousands of them in the room! A more ambitious Chef de cuisine would be our recommendation too.

We were really happy with our stay. The hotel is very nice, right at the beach and with a nice pool. Perfect for relaxing. We stayed for 2,5 days before our flight. There are also a lot of restaurants in the area. The biggest plus was the bed - so comfortable!!! The pillows were so soft as well as the mattress, definitely our best sleep in Sri Lanka.

A few tips that could get better or things that bothered us: There is rubbish on the beach. Some parts of the room were dirty / worn out. Expensive drinks at the bar. Small noise from the hall. But overall we were really satisfied and enjoyed our stay. We do recommend this hotel! :-)

During our stay at Earl's Regent in Negombo, there were several aspects that we appreciated and found positive. Firstly, the hotel's location was convenient, providing easy access to the beach, as well as nearby restaurants and shops. This allowed us to explore the area with ease and make the most of our time in Negombo. The staff, in general, were friendly and accommodating, and we were particularly impressed by the guard at the parking lot who ensured the safety of our vehicle throughout our stay. His and other staff members' friendly demeanor and helpfulness added a positive touch to our overall experience at the hotel. Additionally, the room we stayed in was decent, well-maintained, and provided a comfortable environment for our stay. We also appreciated the hotel's ability to organize massages for us, allowing us to relax and rejuvenate during our time there. Furthermore, the hotel's arrangement of a taxi to the airport was a convenient service that ensured a hassle-free departure, adding to the convenience and smoothness of our overall stay at Earl's Regent.

The breakfast experience, in particular, was a bit disappointing. The quality and variety of the food did not meet our expectations, making it a mediocre start to our day. Additionally, we had some concerns about the hotel's repeated requests to write a review on Booking.com, even after our departure, using my personal phone number provided on the booking platform. This approach felt a bit intrusive and raised questions about the hotel's professionalism in handling guest information.

I had an excellent stay at Earl's Regent. Needed somewhere to spend my last night before flying home and this location was perfect for some relaxing alone time. The pool was lovely and the hotel is right on the beach - incredible sunset through the bedroom window. Great facilities in the room with a very comfortable bed and quality bedding. The staff were so kind. I was brought chocolates in the morning! I was travelling alone and they looked after me well. I'd definitely return to stay here and would like to see more of Negombo. The hotel was new and still under renovation so I'm sure it will be even better.

The pool could be a bit cleaner but it was still usable, and I was in there a lot.

This hotel is right by the beach and has rooms with balconies affording a glorious view of the beach. The balconies are furnished with loungers so you can sit and relax and watch the world go by. We checked into room 304 which has a large enough bed for two adults and a sufficient room area without having to feel cramped. The usual trappings - mini fridge, kettle, tea & coffee sachets, drinking water - are provided. The bathroom is well furnished and has both 110V as well as 220V points for electric shavers - a convenient facility. The breakfast is limited to preset options and we went for the American breakfast which came with fresh juice, coffee, toasted bread with jam and butter, bread basket, choice of eggs, sausages, ham, baked beans and a fruit platter. Our stay was comfortable and the staff were very professional and extremely polite and obliging to our requests. Highly recommended for a beach front stay in Negombo.

The WiFi was broken when we checked in and was still not working when we checked out the next day. It looked like there was nobody on site who knew how to address the problem.

Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms/beds with lots of lamps, although we could not switch off the lights from the bedside. Cooling system was efficient. Good shower, good outside pool.

Breakfast from 7.00-9.00 am is too short when you want to sleep longer. We took breakfast and food elsewhere. Mosquitoes in the room; we killed a few and because of cool air didn't really bother us. Staff sometimes pushy to order drinks when sitting at the pool. Hotel beachside nott cleaned up.

- Spacious room with air conditioning and comfortable bed + clean bathroom; - Well-located within walking distance to several seafood restaurants + beachfront; - Staff was very nice and helpful - they allowed us to do an early check-in + to enjoy the pool after check-out (until we left to catch our flight).

- Cleanliness around the pool could be a bit better -(there are lots of crows and hence bird droppings all around the pool and on the chairs) - it’s probably different during high season but there was no staff at all around the pool during off season.

Blissful stay with fabulous service. Located in breath taking area facing the sea with calm environment. The room was spacious, clean and luxurious. But the best thing... food! absolutely incredible and the dining area is superb. A great place to spend the holiday relax and chill with the sea breeze. Thanks for the memorable stay. Wishing the entire hotel team all the very best. Hope to visit again... :)

An absolutely amazing hotel, I finally found a hotel in Sri Lanka that is clean, great service, excellent breakfast, an absolutely exceptional view of the sea. Luxury bedding and accessories such as fridge, refilling drinks, cleaning, kettle and tea in the room. I have to commend the hotel manager who kept trying to make me feel good.

The staff here are amazing. Extremely helpful and always available to you with a smile. The rooms are so comfortable with uninterrupted views of the ocean and pool. Away from any noise but still right on the beach and near to a wonderful range of local restaurants and shops. Friendly locals.
