I had a really good chat with the owners who are a well travelled intelligent couple who understand the english very well and obviously have a lot of local knowledge. The room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the sea. Set far enough back from the beach and the road to be very quiet. Extra seats decent telly and a kettle. I felt quite at home. 2 minute walk to a number of restaurants and shops.

You could probably get cheaper places ( but probably not as well appointed):and the property does have gates that are normally closed which can make it a little difficult when coming first time.

The location and the ultra friendly welcome, it felt like we were staying with long term friends. The room and bathroom were very clean. The room we had was very big, a large bedroom, with a wide hallway to the bathroom and exit. The area looks like it will convert to a twin double room suite. All the doors and windows were protected by mosquito screens. Great views over the garden to the sea, from the very large balcony.

The booth tooth and mobile network enabled credit card machine wasn’t working, possibly due to a power outage.

We didn't arrive until 1am from the airport and the owner was up to let us into our room and welcome us. Our room was spotless and clean. I love a hard bed so my sleep was comfy!! There is a/c & a ceiling fan which is great as I don't like too much a/c. We had a lovely large balcony to get a breeze & see the ocean. The family who own the guesthouse are all really friendly, chatty & supportive.

Shower head was broken.

Best breakfasts in our time in Sri Lanka. The proprietors speak fluent English and we greatly enjoyed our conversations. Very fun and warm, welcoming group. Front row seats to an ocean view from the balcony, direct access from the property to the beach, quiet but with easy access to a variety of restaurants. This place is a gem! Thank you so much for an exceptional stay.

The hosts were very nice and the location is right on the beach. We forgot some clothes at the location and the hosts made everything possible to give them back to us.

There could have been extra attention paid to cleaning. The building might need some renovations.

Nishi and her dad were wonderful! The breakfasts were delicious and varied. They were very helpful and let us check out later because of our flight. Being on the beach was very convenient, and there's enough shops and restaurants nearby.

Highly recommended in a great location. Was a perfect end to a very busy trip around Sri Lanka
