The rooms were really spatious, clean and had a great view to the beach. Staff was super friendly and helpful throughtout our stay. Breakfast was delicious with multiple local and international options.

The hotel had far too few sun beds in relation to the number of guests, which resulted in people reserving the beds quite early and arriving somewhere after breakfast. Also, the sun beds were really uncomfortable (metal without cushions) and many of them were broken. The hotel would really benefit if they invested to new more comfortable and stylish ones, enough for the hotel capacity.

Hotel is centrally located amongst the street shops and restaurants. I chose it because it’s the best hotel in the area. Rooms overlook the sea. Excellent noise insulation from the street with door having special sealing, meaning it had to be pulled hard to close. The wifi was strong throughout the hotel and gardens/grounds. The lawn area facing the beach is so peaceful to lay back on a deck chair in the shade of the palm trees and listen to the sound of the sea and birds. Contrary to comments by others I saw no issue with the ravens. These birds are common across south East Asian. Breakfast selection was not extensive, unlike some large international hotel chains, but the Sri Lankan curries were so tasty and the bread rolls still warm I enjoyed the breakfast every day. Kassandra, Guest Relations Officer said the rolls were made by a bakery across the street. Lots of tv programs with 3 English movie channels. Nice pool and gym.

Room safe had an error message on several occasions meaning staff had to come and open it for me. Notwithstanding, the staff were very responsive and understanding when doing so.

This hotel is amazing. The view is incredible from the balcony . The service is terrific, they gave us complimentary bottles of waters and cool guava drinks upon arrival. We came early so they gave us tea for free as well. They arranged an early check in free of charge and upgraded our room for no charge either! It truly is a slice of luxury. Milroy in particular was a fantastic member for staff (among many fantastic members of staff) who helped us with anything and everything we needed. The outdoor pool is excellent, clean. The buffet is delicious with authentic Sri Lankan food and English food. Truly a 5 star hotel! Highly recommend✨

We stayed for one night and one day before departing SriLanka. We also managed to have a late checkout (6pm) to work in with our midnight flight. We did have to pay another AUD$75 per room but that meant we could sit by the pool all day and then rest, pack and shower before going to the airport. Whilst the rooms are a little tired, the pool, restaurant and bar are lovely. The highlight was the curry dinner in the restaurant and the delightful staff members. Danushka in particular was attentive, communicated really well and was extremely professional in his service. Thank you all for a great stay!

The staff went above and beyond to help us and nothing seemed like too much trouble, every member of staff we met was lovely. We both got sick the night we arrived (not from the hotel, from a restaurant we had been to earlier in the day), meaning we didn’t get to enjoy the pool facilities but it all looked beautiful from our room. We were given late check out and then the staff booked us into the spa so we could rest up there until our driver collected us. The spa facilities were wonderful and very good value. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. Unfortunately we did not get to try the breakfast but we have both said we will go back again!

Exceptional Hospitality and a Wonderful Stay!

I recently stayed at Sentido Heritance Negombo for the first time, and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the manager, Virach, who was incredibly helpful and hospitable. He went above and beyond to assist me, even helping with my Indian visa application, which I truly appreciate. The hotel itself is fantastic the rooms are comfortable, the pool is amazing, and the overall ambiance is very relaxing. At the time of departure, I met Virach again, and he kindly helped me find a taxi to the airport. His kindness and assistance made my stay even more memorable. God bless him! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Negombo.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and keen to help in any way. They let us have a late checkout as we needed to depart at 3pm and didn't charge for it (thank you!). One room was a little smoky but they sorted that out immediately. Pool is lovely, gym pretty good too. We had nice treatments in the spa. We only stayed one night before our flights home but it's worth another day or two as it is a pretty location, beautiful sunset views..

Main restaurant not very nice, breakfast was ok but a bit hectic and jammed packed. Could do with a renovation and maybe add a nice al la carte restaurant in the hotel? Though there are plenty of local places to eat. Otherwise it's a great hotel especially close to airport.

Great location on the beach. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. A lot of countertop space to place your belongings, in the room and in the bathroom. All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The manager, Virach, was very accommodating. We were meeting up with a tour that stayed at this hotel a day later. We booked a room on our own, the day before the tour started. Virach was very accommodating with keeping us in the same room for all three nights and provided us a room upgrade. All of the staff we came in contact with, seem to really care about the guests. Breakfast had a lot of options and was very good.

I liked everything about the property. The room, the location and the service provided to the guests.
