The staff are very helpful and go to great efforts ensuring your stay is as comfortable as possible. We stayed in the Deluxe rooms which have the added benefit of a shared kitchen and living area with one other room and when we stayed there was no other occupant so it felt like a great space. The pool is excellent, a very good size. Having a washing machine available is a bonus touch if you're staying long. There are plenty of good restaurants in the surrounding area, notable recommendations Jhony's and Edwin's.

We would definitely return here so these points in perspective are of a minor nature: - The accommodation doesn't have any generator backup. We had 4 power outages during our stay of 5 days, one of them lasting from when we arrived at 10am until 5pm so just ensure you have contingency measures in case you depend on power. - Whilst they have sufficient pans to cook with the lack of cooking utensils made it sufficiently difficult that we didn't try. - The shower lacked water pressure making it difficult to wash your hair if you have long hair, the poolside shower has plenty of water pressure as an alternative

Wonderful family stay at Christima Residence We stayed here for 10 days in April as part of a family trip, and it was a fantastic base for exploring the area. The accommodation was excellent – very spacious rooms with two en suite bathrooms, which was perfect for our needs. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the lovely pool, which was steps away from our room was a great bonus. Although in a centrall location, the residence is tucked away in a peaceful, quiet setting, so we had the best of both worlds. Beach only a few minutes walk.The owner was really friendly, and helped us organise trips. We would highly recommend Christima Residence to anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable, convenient, and relaxing place to stay in Negombo.

Literally nothing we could fault.

Family of 3 stayed in a two bedroom room apartment which had two bathrooms and a large living area. The bedrooms were a great size. The pool was clean and well maintained. The air-conditioner worked well. Washing machine was a nice touch and dried clothes on balcony. Nice to have wifi which worked well.We stayed for 4 nights before our tour started. As we arrived in the middle of the night it was good to have driver pick us up as accommodation slightly off main street. Christima was welcoming.

The kitchen had basic equipment, maybe a tea towel would be good...don't think people usually cook there. The bed was a little hard but better than too soft :)

We stayed at Christima Residence last night and this hotel is amazing. (2 adults, 2 teenagers). We were picked up from the airport by a great driver, which the hotel organised for us, after a 20 minute minibus ride we were greeted by the hotel manager at 8pm, he made us feel very welcome and gave us some much useful information. Only a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Our 2 bedroom apartment was so spacious and had everything we needed, a morning swim in the hotel pool was very refreshing and the pool and the area around was spotless. We also had breakfast in the hotel, again perfect. We were looking for a driver to take us to Nuwara Eliya the next morning and the manager organised this for us at such short notice, we had a fantastic driver called Yoga, who made the 5 hours drive so enjoyable and gave us so much information. We felt very safe. We did not want to leave this hotel, it was the perfect place to relax after a long flight.

The property is well located. The staff is very nice. The owner very welcoming. The room was large and clean with a shared kitchen and living room. The common terrace upstairs is a plus. The swimming pool is one of the best I had at Negombo (and I am a regular visitor of that city) as it is long enough to swim in. The drive to the airport was very well organized and comfortable (of course you can always find cheaper by yourself or with pickme app but honestly for a few euros I would not take the risk of a taxi not showing up in the middle of the night). I totally recommend this place and will come back. Thank you!

Although the property is well maintained, some attention could be given to the pool area but this is nothing to complain about.

The most perfect first 2 nights in Negombo to start our month in Sri Lanka! The rooms were very clean and spacious we felt super comfortable there. The outdoor pool was so so lovely to relax in the 35° heat! The vibe of the place is really chilled and relaxed. The location is central just a 2 minute walk to all the restaurants, shops and beach. The owner Chams was so welcoming and friendly he helped us so much during our stay and said to message if ever we needed anything during our month travelling Sri Lanka which we really appreciate :) The staff were all happy and friendly and made us lovely breakfast with a lot of food! I would 100% recommend staying here if you are in Negombo!!

Excellent location in a laid back street. Very nice, roomy property. Very clean, comfortable bed and a spacious room. The attached shared area was very good too as I was able to sit there and have my lunch Staff were very helpful including the local driver, Dilan whose taxi I used 3 times.

The breakfast could've been a bit better. I think it was overpriced for what was offered but apart from that, everything was very comfortable.

Chams is a wonderful person. The hotel is spectacular, the pool and rooms are super clean and the service is unbeatable. When we arrived in Sri Lanka we didn't have much idea of what to visit since it is monsoon season, and Chams spent hours planning our trip. They give you all the facilities to move with the magnificent driver Dilan, a person who really is a good guide, who speaks English and with whom you feel at home and safe at all times. The cleanliness of the facilities, the breakfasts, how good you feel with them, has made us come back at the end of our trip to thank them again for their kindness. It is a hotel that deserves its 5 stars for the human quality that surrounds it.

Nice location close to the beach and restaurants. The room is basic but clean and has good airconditioning and a mosquito-net, although we didn’t need it. I loved going for a swim in the pool after a day of walking around. The staff is very friendly. They booked the lagoon boat tour for us (cheaper than on the streat), and the owner got us a ticket on the airconditioned bus to our next stay in Anuradhapura, so we were able to avoid taking an expensive taxi.

The waterpressure of the shower was a bit low, but that’s just a small detail
